There probably are still a small minority of Christians left in Syria but most are probably RC. I grew up around a lot of RC Syrians when I was young and I still know a few.

I think the Sunnis make up the majority of the country now but there are many different sects of Islam in Syria today, including Kurds (who really aren't Muslim to begin with). Christian Syrians have been immigrating to this country for many years to escape hardships.

I don't know of a single person who isn't willing to help them.

But we live in a day when it doesn't take many criminals to cause mass chaos and havoc, and it has already been proven that ISIS came in the wave to Europe. We can't afford to make a mistake, so why is being sure about every single immigrant being portrayed as "hate" instead of "wise"? :?:

And we need to be doing the vetting, not the U.N. Commission with ties to terrorist organizations. Like the head of the FBI said, there is no way to vet them properly. Is there really no reasonable restrictions to be discussed?

Why doesn't the UN carve out a safe-haven for these people in their homeland of Syria or Iraq? Oh, I guess they're too busy trying to carve Israel into smaller pieces to do anything about the humanitarian crises north of there. Why do we allow the freeloading UN on our soil if they can't do their job?

We need for all people to follow the immigration laws that everyone had to follow to come in legally. I'm not sure why anyone can cross the Texas border, or anywhere else without going through the same process that everyone in our history went through.

It's the only fair way, it's the only right way for everyone concerned....except for those who don't respect the law our legally elected representatives established.
