Adele references make great topic headings right? But that's not what I'm talking about~
Hi, I'm Grace, and I thought I'd say hello to the fellow artists out here.
I decided to pursue music because of one of my favorite bands ever: Imagine Dragons. I'm currently studying at a local college for vocal performance. If I can somehow, I'd also like to go to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. (financial reasons foreshadow I will not be able to attend) However, that does not mean I am putting my dreams on the back burner. I want to be a part of a unit, a band, and if I have to form one myself then so be it.
Some of my favorite artists, other than Imagine Dragons, are Night Lights (another Berklee Band), Three Days Grace, Coldplay, Bastille, The Goo Goo Dolls, Kaene, Maroon 5, Sam Smith, Adam Lambert, Neon Trees, Nirvana, Matt Kearney, The Script, Phil Collins, Walk the Moon, X Ambassadors, The Royal Concept, and all sorts of other indie/alt bands. I like music with a little bit of rock and a little bit of synth, ocassionally lo-fi is really cool too, however...
Fun fact: Every Noise at Once (a music genre map) has helped me discover Stomp and Holler is a popular theme in the bands I enjoy most. That's a folk genre.
