Sounds reasonable.
The real problem comes when the next President tries to re-assert America into the rush for oil in the middle east.
But I find it interesting that "Gog" (aka Georgia is Russia's forward base in the region) and the chief Prince of Mesheck (Moscow) with his partner "Magog" (meaning from Georgia, the Persians come from the Caucus Mtns)
As of only a month ago, Gog and Magog are sitting on Israel's northern border, as prophecied by Ezekiel in chapters 38 and 39. This has never happened in earth's history before. The prophecy says they come to take a spoil, and the surrounding nations don't seem to mind it.
I don't see this necessarily as "impending" but leading to it. Who knows what Iran will do though? It could happen with any slight misfire when you have all the world's players in such a small space.
If you read those two chapters, it sure sounds like it ends in something that resembles a nuclear disaster....and fits a scenario happening right now that has never occurred before.
