please clarify...so, what do you think is "pure BS"?

A. that we sold weapons to Iran?

B. that we funded and trained the contras?

C. that the contras raped, tortured, and killed hundreds of thousands?

D. that The International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled in favor of Nicaragua and against the United States and awarded reparations to Nicaragua. The ICJ held that the U.S. had violated international law by supporting the Contras in their rebellion against the Nicaraguan government and by mining Nicaragua's harbors. The Court found in its verdict that the United States was "in breach of its obligations under customary international law not to use force against another State"

E. that conservatives bitch and moan everytime there's discussion about raising the minimum wage?

F. none of the above

G. all the above

U.N. Resolution calls for DISARMAMENT of all U.N. countries. This is not just about personal GUNS...

46 senators actually voted to disarm THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA. AND... YOU DON'T GET IT!

yes, i see....you "STILL DON'T GET IT"

you can claim the resolution "calls for DISARMAMENT of all U.N. countries." all you like. it's simply NOT true and you claiming so makes you appear foolish, ignorant, and/or dishonest.

read below and then please explain how you can possibly interpret this as "calling for DISARMAMENT of all U.N. countries"...or remain in blissful sheep like ignorance on the matter.....

The Arms Trade Treaty has nothing to do with restricting the legal sale or ownership of guns within the United States. The aim of the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty is to combat the illicit international trade of arms by "tightening regulation of, and setting international standards for, the import, export and transfer of conventional weapons" in order to "close gaps in existing regional and national arms export control systems that allow weapons to pass onto the illicit market":

The Arms Trade Treaty obligates member states to monitor arms exports and ensure that weapons don't cross existing arms embargoes or end up being used for human-rights abuses, including terrorism. Member states, with the assistance of the U.N., will put into place enforceable, standardized arms import and export regulations (much like those that already exist in the U.S.) and be expected to track the destination of exports to ensure they don't end up in the wrong hands. Ideally, that means limiting the inflow of deadly weapons into places like Syria.

The text of the proposed treaty specifically "reaffirms the sovereign right and responsibility of any State to regulate and control transfers of conventional arms that take place exclusively within its territory, pursuant to its own legal or constitutional systems," so even if such a treaty came to pass, U.S. rights and laws regarding the sale and ownership of small arms would still apply within the United States.

Every law passed by tyrants will morph to mean something else at a later time. That is how despots work.

Any man who trusts any government is a fool.

Any man who lays his trust at the feet of a unrestrained government is more than a fool, he is an accomplice.

....and definitions on what constitutes an "unrestrained govt" are completely subjective, as we all have different yardsticks to measure that.

I don't have a side....they're all crooks.

The crooks on the right are greed and corrupt, but the crooks on the left are pure evil and going to kill us all.

Here is your comparison: Greed (right) builds companies that at least hire people. The State (left) only enslaves them.

"that smacks of paranoia. (as does seeing tyrants EVERYWHERE)"

Only the gullible fool can not see tyrants everywhere within this regime

Tyranny = "arbitrary or unrestrained exercise of power; despotic abuse of authority"

Unlawful presidential fiat, signing treaties outside of constitutional law, over ruling the immigration policies of the US. An unlawful Supreme court writing and amending legislation, a congress relinquishing its authority to a despot and on and on Only the blind can not see that calling a mouse a water buffalo doesn't make it a water buffalo.

That's not true. Conservatives "bitch" that raising the minimum wage hurts the poorest Americans. It's just so typical of the Left to find a slogan for beating up the Right that has no basis in fact. They are interested in helping anyone, they are only interested in winning elections with 2 bit slogans.

Raising the minimum wage helps NO ONE and hurts EVERYONE. Just like the "Great Society" of LBJ, the results are in and no longer debatable. It destroys small business, the backbone of our economy. This is exactly why the marxists on the left push it.

How many people are working only 19 hours now because of Obamacare mandates? How many businesses are shutting down or leaving where the minimum wage is raised? How many kids are no longer finding jobs because entry level work has been priced out?

Are you really so partisan that you don't realize businesses do NOT absorbs those higher costs? It gets passed on to the consumer, raising the cost of living for everyone, including the poorest among us. That inflation devalues the money we have, including the poorest among us.

So the State enslaves more people, large corporations shut out small business, and everyone is miserable.

That is the definition of success on the Left....so congratulations if that is what you call "progress"

That picture is very symbolic... I see absolute power against an individual that has been disarmed. I guess Jim is trying to point out the value of the NRA.
