That's not the ARP I was thinking of, but looks to be in fair condition except for those corroded jacks - unfortunately they may be a sign of corrision inside, too.

The corrosion can be cleaned from those jacks. Tuner cleaner, a soft brass Dremmel brush, and a Dremmel tool might do the job. Work slowly as you have to be careful not to over buff them. Try cleaning them by hand first before using a Dremmel as the corrosion is pretty much a surface problem. The tuner cleaner will help eat at the corrosion.

Even a cotton swab with tuner cleaner on it might work good enough.

The scary part is that carbon pots also get a build up in them, but that is corrosive and will eat the carbon traces rendering them useless. That happens to Amplifiers stored in damp environments as well. Looks like a fun toy.

Maybe Planetguy has jammed with him?

nah...never i've really got down to Springfield (about 3 hrs from me) for any musical mayhem.

congrats on the score, dayne. hopefully you snagged it for a song and hopefully it won't be too involved to get it back to good health.

Mark, if it was in mint condition, do you think $1400.00 would be out of line?..
