The Bible IS the word of God. Jesus himself is referred to as "The Word" Jesus is the creator of all that exists, for it is written that All things were created by him, through him, and for him.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the one who is called the Word. The Word was with God and was truly God.

Clue: All scripture is the inspired word of God. In case that is too difficult for you to understand, it means that God inspired (told) men what to write.

2Ti 3:16 Everything in the Scriptures is God's Word, given by him for the instruction of men . All scripture is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live.

Or in the KJV

2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Well why would you care about Sharia Law or Constitutional Law or Gods Law or even Crowleys Law … yes why would you indeed. To be truly ignorant one must refuse to recognize any semblance of his ignorance. this is not an easy accomplishment but i must say you have impressed me. Actually the vast majority of those who now live or even who have ever lived and believed in a "Creator", take the Bible as the Word of God. Far too many for me to disagree with and ignore out of hand … but I am but a simple Artist not "skilled" in such matters as others claim to be.

How all this is interpreted is really quite a complex matter and i am in general agreement with you on many points you mention … excepting that i believe "religion" not the Bible is the control device you speak of. Government is another big control device. Now they are being combined along with Corporate Control of food, water, shelter, medical care, jobs … etc. etc. Virtually everything if humans are stupid enough to let them.

Most people have actually in Truth Devolved not evolved. The current State of the World more than adequately proves this. Wars used to be waged from the ground up … that is men killing men, raping women, one another and animals … braining babies, that sort of glorious activity. This was shown and taught by the Nephilim quite well. But now we have "Fallen" ourselves and being no "Angels" we lack the means to enforce or even to have a "Will" of our own which will stand the test of adversity and time. Humans have degenerated in every aspect from what their Ancestors were. Even Oaths have become meaningless.

I ask what is wrong with quoting "pertinent parts", we all do this, not just the Bible but even in our everyday lives we use and quote myriad of sources which are to give our points credence. These only serve to reinforce and help demonstrate our points … much like speech. Speaking and writing eloquently, intelligently and fairly … using pertinent points, well chosen words, patience, critical thought and understanding … respect and consideration , all only assist our points made. Any ignorant, infantile and immature statements issued and sourced by infantile tempers and lack of self-control …WORKS IN THE OPPOSITE WAY.

Planet guy … Slacker does not spread Lies … he only spreads what he perceives as the Truth. His actions and Posts are inspired by his Love of all Humanity … even you. Of course absolutely you may disagree but this does in no way alter the Truth of his motivation. We all have tempers … you, I, Slacker … why even Glen. But not all have the pure ability to see past the anger and regard the larger picture … although we all do from time to time glimpse it and i feel this is an excellent improvement.

Any who do not do this only serve discord and disharmony … not good from a musical perspective. And we all sing, speak and play out of tune from time to time as it is a part of our "human condition". All of our lives have been merely " A Wandering", confusing beliefs with realities is a part of it all. Seeking your own Path, perhaps finding it and then staying upon it … none of this is easy. Speaking Truth is difficult at any given moment. Not the Truth as one may see it but the simple Truth unclouded by emotions. Even for the discerning this is almost impossible without assistance. We all have opinions … this forum clearly demonstrates that there is a host of those.

We were all born suckers … some on the loving breast of our Mothers and others upon the artificial tits created by mankind. Some of us have been weaned whilst others clearly have not. Those who suck the artificial tits of mankind continue to suckle till they die. Now this condition more and more becomes the cause of their death.

We should all care about one another, even if we do not agree with them. Giving into being controlled and manipulated by our differences is right up there with any effective device of control and conditioning. To get past any of this one must not so much refrain but rather let go of their personal ego and let their hearts guide them. Speak from your heart not from the anger and animosity of disagreement.

Stop devolving and linger in balance for just a moment before possibly changing your Path and direction. Let it all sink in as though you were an eye in the sky looking at the entire world below as it writhes in agonies and conflicts. Then make your own choice, refuse the control, conditioning and conflict or remain biting yourself and others … being as a wild animal in a trap.

This is why we all should care about Glenda, Farty, Planet Guy, Slacker and everyone else here … by our affinity of the note, the sound wave, the frequency, the creative process and the Power of Music. We all can create something beautiful which can move through Time Forever.

This is all a personal and Spiritual choice really. Why wallow in the Deception and Truth without "accepting" that they are all around all of us at every moment. We make our choices … we choose. Just because you may not see either at any given moment, does not deny their existence and influence. These are the Last Moments you may choose. This is a wondrous and great opportunity unparelled. Rare … unique and fleeting.

There is no chance for you, me or anyone … for Humanity, if we continue our present paths and method. This is why we must above any of the others, as Artists, Creators and Musicians, rise to the moment like beacons amidst the growing wastelands about us. For those who do, they will be Warriors, Leaders and Monks, fulfilling their purpose.

you're correct...."baiting" IS what spawned this thread. but not in the way you assume. MY intention wasn't to "bait" anyone.

i can easily see how you might misinterpret it that way. but you're mistaken. not my intent at all. my intention was to point out MY view.....which is quite simply that anyone who wraps themselves up in the bible (or the koran or whatever) should walk the walk and not merely talk the talk.
