I used to have a bike years ago, and any friend I have ever known who rode with any regularity, will be the first to tell you "If you ride a bike regularly, you WILL lay it down. It's just a matter of time."
Two wheels, and sharp turns and loose gravel and pot holes and people just not seeming to see and respect bikers. Too much of a recipee for disaster. If you have a bike for long enough, you're gonna lay it down one day. It's almost inevitable.
