Well - if we are going to get apocalyptic:

I tried to download a backing track using Linux. It was a jaunty piece called "Tentacles: Lovecraft is coming." Unfortunately some slime came oozing out of my DVD drive.

It was headed for my Windows machine. I shamelessly fled. It turned out that the Old Gods hate Microsoft and when the stars aligned just right, the chants were made, the sacrifices slaughtered - it began.

Soon all the MS Machines will be subsumed. Many of the users were trapped and translated to the two dimensional universe where such beings can thrive - at least for a micro-second or two.

There is some bad news as well: The Old Gods like humans just marginally more than they like Microsoft but find our screams of terror immensely satisfying in some arcane region of the multidimensional space in their hideous forms where blasphemous appetite is located and serviced.

So take your Windows Machines up to the roof. Get your guns, your blades, your slime removal implements. Quickly, before Home Depot closes - forever!

Planet Guy ... yes ... affirmative ... I do have an immense dislike for "rap". Glen was right, your little song has a certain appeal and it was quite enjoyable ... I thank you. Talbot, that was very awesome. Lovecraft ... he occupied some of my time a few years ago. I used to have a studio and shop on "Lower Haight" in SF and I helped build many different businesses there. One was called Body Manipulations ... a tattoo and scarification place. I was painting leather jacket backs and one of the clients at the tattoo shop contracted me to do some "custom" work for him upon his death. He was covered in tattoos and utterly into "The Dark Side". We discussed much about Lovecraft and The Necronomicon. He wants me after his death to take his tanned hide and make an entire book cover with selected chapter title pages from it. It is all in his Will nice and tidy. I will be painting a few pseudo "monk" like letters and phrases in Latin as well.

I apologize for my slight departure from the thread theme. But I thought my little tale to be of possible interest. The person I speak of still thrives and we keep in sporadic touch. He has a policy which will pay for my fee upon his death. Occasionally I work on the Book which is to be his NECRONOMICON. One of my favourite Artists is the late H.R.Giger who also was deeply involved. Talbot ... you could write a short story based upon what you have related in your single post ... very admirable and talented.

Actually that is from a different thing I'm working on. I'm violating some rules in working on multiple projects - probably stupid to do that but lots of ideas and hate to waste them.

I'm working up a release of some of the musical along with a couple songs - but figuring out how and where to place it - "aye - there's the rub."

I was going to have my brain pickled in alcohol after I departed this mortal coil - but actually, I think I just need to set it on a paper towel for a minutes and then into the jar!
