You should speak with Wegman (wow what happened to him anyway??). He is also a guy who studied Eastern paths but then went to evangelical Christianity.

At risk of starting another theological debate here. I never saw a conflict in my seeking enlightenment and mental / physical strength with my blessed forgiveness at the end of my time. Luminus beings are we!

Actually, Irminsul, I have no clue what happened to Wegman, lol. I have been wondering what happened to him and Axgrinder. Those two have like totally disappeared. I figured it is just life circumstances, I can see how one would have no time to come online and post when overloaded with lifes crap.

Peace, GuitarAnatomy.

I once had an eerie felling that my Clavinet was talking to me. Turned out, it was its preamp picking up Radio Moscow!

I always figured that a ghost couldnt physically hurt me, but its presence could make me hurt myself.

I have read accounts that, frighteningly enough, counter that claim. One was a story of a woman being struck in the face by a ghost, with such force that it dislocated her jaw. Another one about an old apartment in San Francisco with the ghost of a savage old sailor who choked a family's dog to death.

From what I understand, it's rare - but it does happen.

Lmao. Actually, I have heard of that too, Irminsul, that they can hurt you. And ironically I have heard about it in EVP cases somewhere, I remember they showed it in the movie White Noise, but I recall it somewhere else. I also remember at the end of the movie it said that 1 out of every 13, or something like that, of the messages from EVP are threatening or harmful in nature.

I think ghosts can hurt you, I think demons can. I think demons are the real danger.

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

I have always fel that, that saying is entirely accurate. Or more so If you open the door you will be suseptable to what may pass thru. Myself I have plenty of my own demons I dont need any more.

SanshouHeil, want me to perform an exorcism on you? Maybe those demons will come out... I will just go get my cross and Bible, only be a minute... :D

Lmao. Neh, just kidding with you.

That statement is fascinating, Irminsul, I can agree with that.

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

I think ghosts are real, and demons are superstition.

Ive been awakened out of a dead sleep on more than one occasion, by a voice saying my name. (outside of my head guys, not from within it :-P)
Very clearly a voice, unmistakenly saying my name, and absolutely not a voice I am familiar with. Or have been familiar with enough to recognize.
You know, as if someone was standing near you trying to wake you while you were snoozing.
I was the only one in the house on all occasions. ...I'm sure of this because after waking up with the sh*t scared out me, lets just say I illuminated the entire place and did a thorough search.
Actually the last time, I just paused to look around the room, then shouted in thought, "leave me the f**k alone", and layed back down.
Hasn't happened since then.
