Hey guys !
How's it going? Not been around much what with crazy schedule and all.
That and aside from working my butt off nothing musical to report really.
Jericho March is still on the prowl. ( core group working on our eighth year together )The six of us, though we have had to deal with family losses ( death ) and some health issues, are still writing new and rearranging our older material to fit the six piece format we are working these days.
We recently signed an internal contract, and I'm able finally to really begin paying my musicians as contract labor.
We plan to either incorporate or form a not for profit. As for now, we have a starting point to work from besides just being " a band ".
We also signed a contract with a local promotions company.
They are a new company, yet very much kindred spirit to our band.
We expect great things from each other in a mutually beneficial relationship.
Hope all is well and you getting your music on.

The Nashville trip was fun, a good learning experience, and amounted to just about that.
Yeah . . . we did get some good advice, though other than that it was basically a snow job.

Live and learn.

Hey George - good to hear from you.

Re Nashville - in Los Angeles they have a saying among artists of all kinds - "After a while, 'no' begins to sound like 'yes.'

Paying musicians? What a wonderful concept.

I'm busy myself - converting Musical to Novel and working up demos from the latter. Finding I need a different type of play than I'm used to - so I've been looking for classically trained folks or top of the line metal guys.

Health issues knocked me out of the IT world and I took it as a sign that if I'm going to something now's the time.

I've learned a strange lesson - in the war, some of us would get killed. But civilians - damn. It's one hundred percent heading to boot hill so what you plan on doing it's best you do it now.

Good luck on your endeavors and God bless.
