Hi all,

Just thought I'd let you know about an upcoming acoustic event on 16th May at Kardomah94 in Hull. Four bands from Leeds and one from Hull, this is the first of a series of events intended to promote and showcase musicians creating original music, as well as encouraging interplay between Northern cities.

I am also looking for any musicians or bands from any genre with a set list of original songs who would like to play in upcoming events in Leeds.

It would be great if any of you could make it down to support this event, and if you're interested in being a part of the next one, just come say hello!

And hopefully you are paying the bands, not just giving them a 'showcase' where they can get exposure and sell some CDs, like too many promoters in the US have been doing!
