Hey man, I sincerely asked you to prove your assertion about cons doing it just as much, and you pointed me to a YouTube video that failed to do that. I responded to the first dozen of fifty "examples" and you just quit.

I never said that ridicule doesn't exist from the right, what I said was that ridicule was the only tool in the leftist box, when asked to give a thoughtful response to just about anything. When it happens from the right, it's usually frustration after being ridiculed from the left. The difference is that there is usually substance of a debate to begin with.

That was a weak comeback from someone that relies on stats all the time and personal interpretation of any fact that may be plausible to fit into the argument at the time. That was in my opinion by the way instead of being asked where the documentation for my opinion came from such as fox news or even worse the white house spokesman.

It's an observable FACT for those who are willing to observe.

Mark, I am constantly looking for the truth. I'm willing to change my bias when the truth demands it. My perception is based on the observations of a history/news junky on the road across America and abroad 300 days per year for a decade now. I get to hear a lot of perspectives and triangulate dozens of sources.

By the way...that's also what makes so dang cranky sometimes. I'm sorry about my tone in those earlier posts, haven't rested much with all the travel lately. I'm really not angry at you or Jimmy or whoeveritispostingpictures.

I have been a liberal Democrat (70s & 80s), and I have been conservative Republican (90s & 00s). Yes, I'm still conservative but the Republican party is not. They trot out people to get us interested in the primaries, but then double-cross us with compromisers.

Romney, Dole, McCain were absolutely despised by conservatives. Bush was also despised by most conservatives but c'mon.....Gore and Kerry? REALLY??? I shudder to think what would have happened. We voted for Bush out of fear of THAT insanity!

But I seriously believe that the left is hell bent on destroying America as a free nation, or they wouldn't nominate Gore, Kerry, or Obama. Heck, Soros has already said that America needs to be taken down a few notches, and he IS the Democrat Party now.

It is the inattention of folks like yourself that cause people on the right to panic. The grassroots of the Democrat Party should be throwing these guys out on their keisters. Instead, we either get ridicule for asking a legitimate question you guys don't want to consider, or we hear the media's talking points repeated propaganda that we've already investigated and found to be wanting.

And if the laity of the Democrat Party doesn't reign in its extremists, America will either be "brought down a few (more) notches" in the near future.....or there will be a very hard swing to the right.
