My son spends a lot of time touring with bands. He hasn't always spent the time with a single band but he hustles to keep working. The constant exposure has led to some pretty amazing pay offs. When he isn't playing music he does a lot of photography and videos for other bands. He hustles quite a bit but it is a way for him to eek out a living. His success, although limited; is based on Hustle hustle hustle and never getting discouraged. If one musical endeavor doesn't pay off he moves right on to the next. He plays piano, drums (Main talent) guitar and he writes a lot of his own material and performs it.
Last night he sent this e-mail to me. I would imaging that if he could find a way to get some measure of notoriety then so can other musicians. He certainly doesn't have the cash to do it himself, but he does work hard to get the exposure to make his efforts pay off. I can't watch it because of my line modem but I'll see it when he gets back here this summer. This is part of the e-mail.
I released my new music video yesterday & within 24hrs it had 47,000 views. Its at 55k now
