Exactly, Yod. You're the one I'm thinking of. No offense, of course. You're doing your thing. Making things happen. Leaving the whiners in the dust. Where they can start passive aggressive threads on the poorly attended bandmix forum, about how everyone is scared to be in a band with them. You can either do this stuff, or you can't. I can't. I totally admit that. I'm not gigging now. I wasn't gigging then. I just didn't think that I had it in me, to get on stage for thirty minutes. I know a lot of people here would jump on the chance to mock me for even saying that, but think about how many people you've seen on stage that should have probably come to the same conclusion. That's it, in a nutshell.

It is all about how passionate you are about music and those who are not will definitely not feel for being in a band.

All good points in this conversation, playing in a good band is a privilege, band members should be able to compromise, but with my experience, and that is many years of performing, there has to be leadership as well. It serves no purpose for all compromising members to agree if there is no direction or goals. I've seen this many times, and those bands crumble quickly.

Always try to work with equal or better skilled musicians, your better off in the long run..
