Hi, my name is Ryan. For about a year now, I have been practicing the art of metal screaming and I believe I have what it takes to be the lead screamer in a metal/hardcore band. So if any bands in the Raleigh/Cary, NC area are searching for a lead vocalist, I'd be happy to record a short demo for you. I'm looking to perform songs written in the style of Underoath and The Devil Wears Prada. Peace.

Nobody listens to that screamo crap! well maybe they do. I'm the lead guitar player in a metal hardcore screamo band. We've been together for a few months and are doing pretty good considering I've been told that screamo sucks and nobody listens to it. You can check out our stuff at the link below.

Screamo aint all that bad as long as its not as one for my friends calls ROAR ROAR ROAR music, where you cant understand a damn word being sung. I,ve heard some screaming lyrics that had a discernable message.

Screaming is not singing.

I don't think he claims screaming is singing. Many modern bands do incorporate screaming and singing into their music. Both are valid vocal styles for modern music.

Actually Captain our front man is a very good singer when he sings. It's not for everyone and I've yet to hear my mother screaming any of our tunes while doing the dishes.

Thanks Howlin! Not all is lost though. I'm getting ready to record some new blues stuff in the studio. I added a short demo clip on my Profile of one of the songs I'll be doing on the demo CD. It's called Rock'n THe Blues.
