I haven't endorsed him and wouldn't for mostly those same reasons. But now that you bring it up, he's not nearly as loony as what the Democrats prop up every four years. Are you seriously going to try and make the case that Ted Cruz is any less mentally stable than Joe Biden? Nancy Pelosi? Al Gore? John Kerry?

I am non-partisan. I hate them all. But I also know that you hate Cruz because you are told to. He's the butt of jokes and has been successfully marginalized by the liberal media, admittedly by his own words....but hypocritically because that same balance isn't employed if it's a liberal or Democrat. We all know there is no longer any pretense of "reporting" the news today, right?

However, in my opinion, Cruz being a bit "peculiar" is not nearly as bad as being absolutely evil. You don't seem to have a problem with that, though?

I agree with what you're saying. My point is that Cruz's entrance will force the party to address not only it's base, but the Tea Party conservatives who left.

IF, and that's a big IF, the GOP does move to the right, it will bring back the coalitions that won the last several elections for them.

My opinion is that we have our very last President of the United States and it's a moot discussion.
