Greetings. My name is Steve Palmer, a producer from the Green Apple Independent Group. We have a band called “ParaDyce!” [currently, an instrumental group, but vocals are on the way] that has suddenly acquired label interest. Yes, I know, you [yes, WE too] have all heard it all before; “Oh sh*t, they have label interest! That’s what I’m about!!”…only to find out later that it was BS to get you [US] to commit to something that wasn’t happening in the first place, to attempt to get label interest on YOUR hard work and talent.

Well, all I can relay to you is this: there is interest, but that does not mean a yes yet. It could also mean no, so as of right now, this is all I have for you. If you are interested in a situation that will take off in the RIGHT direction, maybe this is for you.

WE require:
1. Hard Work
2. A Steady Rehearsal Schedule [and don’t come to the rehearsal late, or start talkin’ “How long is this gonna take?”]
3. Time [not all your time; we hope you are involved in other projects, also]
4. NO MERCENARIES!! This is a very serious project, so if you’re one to “well. I can’t really make the rehearsal, but when’s the gig?” don’t even read further
5. There are gigs down the pike, but only when we are ready as a group [and because of all the above factors, these gigs will be WELL PAYING;-)]

Once we mutually agree that this is something that can work for you and us, we will then begin touring nationally and internationally. We will do live and studio recordings for CDs/MP3s, and if you contribute to the song you will be given copyright/author/producer status for that tune, and so on and so forth. You must be responsible [if you find that you are not interested, please don’t dodge phone calls/texts/messages/etc. All you have to do is say “thanks guys, but this is not for me” or “I have other interests” or whatever. We are all adults [I hope] and we will treat everyone as such.

Having said all that, if you are interested in us and we in you, you must not be afraid to take your musicianship to the NEXT level. That’s right, good ole fashioned shedding on your instrument. The caliber of musicianship here is high, and will continue to move in that direction. We cannot wait forever, as we are sure you are busy and have sh*t to do also;-)

Alright, done. Any questions/commennts/suggestions, please feel free to reply to me.

Peace and love to everyone!

ok, i have a question. your post says you're looking for "Drummers/Bassists/Guitarists/Keyboardists/Brasses" and you have no vcls presently.

so that begs the question...your "band" that's getting the possible label interest...uh, what members/instr DO you have in place? :?

My thoughts, too! No description of the genre, what they DO have ...

No offense to the man but this sounds like a 'suit' talking. Wants control of the conversation and the business relationship while offering nothing.

Don't we all.

There is a thing called 'quid pro quo.' Should get a musician to edit that for him because we have no idea what it is he wants, other than submissive players.
