Besides a couple of ad spammers, it has been about a year since a real malevolent troll has been on the forum. Remember MyWillie? Or Glenny's battle against the "Moderators"? Those were trolls against the entire forum, against Bandmix's policies. Mywillie tried to hold the entire forum "hostage" until his demands of a premium membership without paying for it, were met.

Badstrat, Vampier, and surprisingly, Paleopete (Whom I had mistaken for being more level headed and mature than that) are on a campaign attempting to brand me as a troll, only to censor and eliminate my opinions that happen to counter their political beliefs. All while they are ranting about how "The Regime" is trying to censor them and take away their freedoms. Such shameless hypocrites ... not at all unlike the 'political filth' we hear so much about.

I know that brother Schmedy and I have disagreed on many topics, yet neither one of us feels the need to eliminate the other (or anyone else) over our differences.

and as always right on point to the topic at hand. attempts at distracting from the conversation???....nah, that's for the naysayers and hypocrites who are doing exactly that.

just a short time back, not only was glen trolling every other post busting chops about gtrmike's and sans' alleged censorship and trying to derail conversation...but i also recall glen being a HUGE fan and supporter of Willy!

but a fan of josh?...well not so much. and why is that?

why was there no outcry back then from those here who are now labeling josh a troll and calling for his departure?

i guess there are different sets of rules for those who dare disagree w the Amen Chorus Club on politics.

jeff, that's a common and overused tactic by conservatives these days. accusing dissenters of "changing the topic" or "turning things around'.

by pointing out the hypocrisy of those calling for Josh's head on a stick for trolling...who had nothing to say when glen was trolling every thread to give gtrmike and sans grief.....in threads that had nothing to do w censorship???? he was doing the same thing slacker's been going on about..... a troll inserting themselves into threads completely off point w the sole purpose of disrupting things.

Lighten up Bro I was just joking around! All I was saying is you make a convincing argument. You guys should know by now. When I see something like the NYT altering a picture to make conservatives look bad or NBC altering a recording to make a half hispanic/half white guy look bad to make white folks look bad and white folks agreeing with it to the point it angers a bunch of race baiters to anger a bunch of THUGS to riot, loot, burn their own town, because a thug was shot in the street after robbing a store and then attempting to take a cops gun and beating his arse while he is inside his car. Then this THUGS step dad tells the other THUGS to "Burn This Bitch" in-sighting a riot. The original THUG that robbed the stores friend that was with him his (accomplice) lies and says he had his hands up which turned out to be a lie. NONE of these Thugs , Step Dad, accomplice, or looters were brought to justice, and now they are ambushing innocent cops well........that just PISSES ME OFF LOL! I get over it!

Were we sitting across from one another w the benefit of body language and facial expressions... Or even on the phone hearing one another's voice I know we'd have an easier time understanding each other.

Rather tragic how someone like Slacker who has been here for quite some time and has proved not only his "worth" but also his honesty and good intentions ...can be cast aside in favour of some misrepresentation which has recently infected the site. But then the yuck yuck mentality has always manifested itself here even without the Trolls. It seems that many of the "Musicians" here are not capable of thinking very far beyond that which they see or in this case that which they do not see. The "Bigger Picture" can not be discerned by a peanut. Let us see what the database comes up with in the way of cute pics that you all can gush over and admire and openly declare your extreme stupidity.

Not only is Slacker my favorite guitar player, I agree with 99.9% of what he says! I'm thinking he gets frustrated and needs a break from this site. I sure hope he comes back common sense is needed here at bm.
I am trying to be as civil as I can in these discussions, and be friends by understanding that we are all being played by both political parties. I am so pissed at congress for not doing what WE the voters sent them to Washington to do and it is SOOooooo PAINFULLY obvious that the folks we GIVE the opportunity to govern us will tell us whatever THEY think we want to hear only to do what they damn well please once they get there! Folks they are playing us like a fine guitar!

Only you play a fine guitar. Thats not totally true... But the youngsters don't understand the amount of effort it takes to get to your level of playing. Crike... All the great playing I've heard from so many is the reason to hang out here.
