No one calls anymore, Bob! Annoying, isn't it?

I'm the same I prefer a call to a text any day. The only exception is with our rhythm guitar player, he can't use the phone at work but can text, so I live with it...but once he goes home it irritates me to no end when he still texts, my old school 10 key makes text really irritating...

Five years ago, I was right there with you guys. I couldn't beat em, so I joined em! Sorry.
And voice mail. How annoying is that?

8 years ago I didn't even know how to turn a computer on LOL! I was beyond computer illiterate. Then due to my new job I had to adapt! Now I'm a "texting fool!

Welcome to the 21st century Bob. Us old farts must adapt or else we will just become dinosaurs looking for a tar pit.
When they text or email I just always respond with "great! Give me a link to some of your recorded music and call me when you are free." and leave my #. The good ones will have music and call. It's a simple way to separate the eagles from the turkeys. Two of my current band mates were from my presence on BM. and The Road Dogs are rockin!
