So felicity, who should I vote for?


Its looking like the presidential choice will be Obama or McCain.


Everyone wants to spew their views on here, which is fine, but in the real world or "reality" as you put it there is an election coming up. We can tap dance on keyboards and write songs all day long but in the end it means nothing.

Serious Question: What is your View on "God" or a higher power?

I wouldnt vote for either, it is a false choice. It is a meet the old boss same as the new boss type of thing. And you are right it means nothing, we do not make the decisions in this country we are dictated to. Most polls show that over 75% of Americans want out of Iraq, but I see no end in sight. You are free to do what ever government tells you that you can do.

I would say that if you are going to vote and you care about liberty in any way, vote for Ron Paul. He is the one candidate that actually understands these things. Does he have a shot? Probably not but we can show government that we are sick of the bullshit if he wins a few states.

I feel that there is something bigger than us. Whether you want to call it God or what ever. I would consider myself more of a spiritual person than religious. But at the same time I am not about to make claims that I know these things for a fact, it is just a gut feeling that I have.

I will agree with one thing, Felicity, and this is in a general term. As someone who studies science, there has to be something out there. I mean, whether it is the God that I pray to, or others do, there must be something. I just cannot find a way to logically, scientifically, or in any other way, explain how we all have come to exist.

People try to use the "Big Bang" theory, but, I don't know... Something is missing there.

Something has to be out there. Hell, maybe aliens made us? Lol. But who made them then? And if there is a God, who made God?

Yeah, a bunch of mind boggling questions designed to twist peoples minds. Lol. You keep thinking on that stuff and sooner or later you wind up in an institution taking pills.

Whoo, talk about a Conspiracy Theory, man. That is like, totally freaky. I have thought that myself. I mean even though I am religious, it does not mean I have not wondered about there being other possibilities to our existence.

I think the problem with me is I have a scientific mindset, which messes me up with religion because I begin examining it, lol.

So yeah, maybe they did. Heck, who knows. I believe in aliens, personally that is. I am a big supporter of the whole SETI program, I wish I could go see Arecibo, that would be fascinating.

But yeah, I am not sure. Either there is a God of some form, or something else out there. I just still cannot see us appearing out of thin air.

The possibilities are endless. I dont know if you have ever heard of the sumerians but if now check some info on them out. That sh*t will blow your mind. They were the first recorded intelligent humans ever recorded on Earth and they have some pretty crazy writings concerning this subject of aliens. They constantly made references to the "Annunaki" which literally translates to the ones that come from the heavens to Earth in English. They knew so much information about the universe that scientists have just come across recently and are still coming across now. Its pretty crazy sh*t.

I have never heard of that. But you know something funny, I remember watching Alien Versus Predator, and they talked about how aliens came down and taught humans how to build their temples, like the Mayan temples and stuff... And I remember thinking "I wonder if that is actually possible."

It reminds me of something a bit different, that whole Illuminati thing, that is a freaky subject, very, lol. People controlling us from secret groups in the backgrounds of society, talk about eerie.

Scientology is another thing that I can relate to some of their beliefs but I have also read some information about L. Ron Hubbard that is pretty disturbing so, who knows.

Ya, I'm not so sure about the whole Illuminati thing but I definitely believe that the New World Order is real.

The reason I ask is because....If one believes that there is a higher power than us, then why put trust in human institutions for the future? Over the entire history of humans, no governmental entity has proved to have the wisdom to direct us in a beneficial way. (IMHO)
