Hey, it's true! My card says it is good for any hospital if the VA is over 50 miles away from me.

Then at the bottom it says that any hospital treatment must be pre approved. Lets try that if you have a heart problem. And then it adds "This card does not provide per approval" Yea!!! If they don't approve it post treatment you have to pay the costs. So it's not just more useless crap to clutter your wallet.
See? He does care about veterans after all.

In the 2014 State of the Union address, President Barack Obama concluded the speech talking about health care for veterans.

“As this time of war draws to a close, a new generation of heroes returns to civilian life,” Obama told a joint session of Congress on Jan. 28. “We’ll keep slashing that backlog so our veterans receive the benefits they’ve earned, and our wounded warriors receive the health care – including the mental health care – that they need.”

He then recognized Cory Remsburg, an Army Ranger wounded in Afghanistan, and heralded the commitments of American veterans.

But by late April, another story about veterans health care had emerged, beginning with reports that officials at the Department of Veterans Affairs hospital in Phoenix had altered the books about wait times for veterans who had to wait months for care in some cases. Subsequent reports found that similar practices were taking place at VA hospitals across the country.

In late May, Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki resigned.

Obama had called the VA scandal “disgraceful” and anyone who engaged in a cover up, “should be fired, period.”

However, new Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald has since been criticized for not holding more VA employees accountable.

All the political nonsense continues. IS ANY ONE GOING TO THROW THE MONEY CHANGERS FROM THE TEMPLE?

The current POTUS is all smoke and mirrors. Distract the sheeple with another crisis and those dumbarses will forget the current crisis. They fall for it over and over again!

I'm actually afraid to go to the VA hospital. It's akin to going to Auschwitz to have Josef Mengele operate on you. The last several times I went there I was misdiagnosed every time. I'll take my chances with the Grim Reaper.

Specialized "Health Care" for Veterans. IBM has a "New Computer Brain" which will take over "Running" the specialized healthcare for Veterans. This "New Brain" is called Watson after the Founder of new innovative technologies which go as far back as pre WWII. Herr Hitler was able to better record and keep track of and even schedule the executions of thousands of Jews thanks to Watson Technologies. Herr Hitler even invented a "Special Award" for Herr Watson honouring "Foreign Service" to the Reich.

Now veterans can expect the same only more modern healthcare with SuperBrain Watson sifting through those pesky medical records quickly and efficiently with all the care and consideration of an unfeeling machine. This will enable the "Death Panels" to be consolidated and function at a higher and more effective level as well without that pesky morality that so many physicians seem to be plagued by ... excepting perhaps Mengle and some modern counterparts.

This technologically pragmatic and economical approach will "revolutionize" many Veterans and their attitude towards the present inefficient "Care" that they have been recieving. Of course it is probably best to not mention that returning Veterans are the number one enemy of the "State" now and a growing burden to USA Inc. and the corporate Filth who consider themselves laughingly "the Elites". Think of the great numbers of HollowPoints that HomeLand Security will be able to save and use on someone else.

The "State of the Union is quite simply a "Gray State" ... as proven rather recently over the "Holidaze". It seems that "Common Core" mathematics is working on the problems of Veterans and guns. Veterans are highly trained and often combat experienced in the use of "guns" so if somehow the guns or indeed the Veterans can be somehow seperated or "subtracted" from the equation then this might create a solution by getting rid of the majority of Veterans and simply "collecting" their guns after they have been "treated".

2015 is the "Quickening"yet so many can not see it or ignore and deny it or are simply cowards devoid of any Duty or Responsibility to themselves, their families and their species. "It" has happened in so many countries and now "It" is happening here..."while you sleep". Of course it has not really been "sneaking" up over the past thousands of years considering that the Bible and Torah laid it all out so clearly that even the ancients could understand it all without computers, Walt Disney, HollyWood and the internet. Hmmm.

Live Well Die Well and watch Israel for that little country is in for the "ride" of its life first internally and then when all the other former nations of the world surround it and prepare to do battle with it ... yet another "OneWorldOrder" Elimination but .... I think not.

My stepmom swears the VA killed my Dad by overprescribing him steroids effectively stopping his heart. He shouldn't have even been at th va hospital. Bad choices on his part that would read like the wildest story you can imagine caused him to go from millionarrie to having to go to the va for healthcare!

Here is my complaint. We are turning all our medical trust over to a modern out of control organization.
Even to maintain a commercial drivers license a person must TRUTHFULLY answer questions of medical value, to a state sponsored doctor... Or face severe criminal and civil penalties.

Do you drink alcohol? Answer, No more than 2 gallons a day.
Do you smoke tobacco? Answer, Only 4 or 5 packs a day.
Do you use illegal drugs such as marijuana? Answer, Never more than a pound or 2 a week.
Do you ever have any thoughts that are outside of normal boundaries. Is there any possibility you are crazy?

Answer... I must be crazy to allow any government agency to control my health care in any way shape or manner, and submit myself to this absolute lunacy!

Yeah I'm being ridiculous. Unfortunately this is exactly what happens when a large government gets involved so much, that they are killing the people they are committed to protect.

I wasn't gonna reply til some vets got their 2¢ in, but damn! Why can't we take care of these guys? It was promised to them. We owe it to them. Cut the funding of bums, sitting on their asses, collecting welfare and food stamps. That's bums as in non-military, non-productive leeches.

Problem is the current POTUS cares more about giving the lazy people that have decided they can sit on their butts watch TV, smoke weed, procreate, then go out steal, pillage and rob for the extra's the gubment won't GIVE them than work at McDonald's or a $12.00 an hr. Job. He would prefer doing that more than taking care of the veterans and honor the promises made to the Men that fought and died to give this country the freedoms this POTUS wants to DESTROY, redistribute and take away! Further more he would rather sweep the inadequacies of the Veteran hospitals under the rug as this is a perfect example of government run healthcare!
