NY-NJ Metro Area Musicians:

If you've been performing for a while, you know there's no real money in doing covers. And at some point you don't need to prove anymore that you sound just like some other band.

If you are ready to perform your own material, check me out. I can write your songs really quickly - often just while hanging out with you and hearing you jam. If you like the composition, we'll do business and the song's all yours, including the copyright filing.

    Genres: Classic Rock, 80's Rock
Compositions for: Drums, Electric Guitar (Lead and Rhythm), Bass Guitar, Vocals
Influences: Midnight Oil, Public Image Limited, The Clash, The Cure, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Gregorian Chant, Mozart, Rimsky-Korsakov

Jeff Beck? Yeah...he does some covers but holy sh*t:

Who covers the Mahavishnu Orchestra?!

I was in a band once that tackled "Inner Mounting Flame" which was one of their pretty 'simple' tunes and by gosh I worked my ass off on that one - and I was playing bass!

Jeff Beck is in a class of his own for sure and has became a hero of mine. When I'm just practicing for fun these days I devote a lot more attention than I ever did before, to playing with my fingers. (on six string -still some problems on certain techniques though without a pick)
