I was cleaning up some old files and decided to remix this without the crappy drum and the in your face bass. At least I can hear the softer guitar parts. This is based on the guitar rides I used to use in this Waylon song when my singer used to sing it. Naturally it sounds little like the original. The main guitar was recorded straight through, then I played along with it dropping some chops along with the first track. Then I cut up the 2nd track into small chops and sent some left and others right. Bass was added last. I don't think I used the best tone on the lead track but the "angry guitars" further down the track are still a fun listen for my ears.

OOPS.

I accidentally triggered the link while I was using the preview. When I looked at the screen it there they were. Isn't there a delete or edit function on this thing? No big deal. Maybe you would like the second link one better even if it is the same one. :) :)

Thank you kind sir, you are very generous.

After cleaning out some of the files I see that I need to remix quite a few of them down the line.

Thank you guys for the generous comments and the listen.

I don't upload much because at 4KBPS it takes a loooooooooong time just to open a web page on this line modem. I bet a lot of people don't even remember how slow line modems are. They want $20 a month here for a line connection that only runs at 1.7m. That's hardly worth $240 a year to send emails and view web pages. :) If they ever give a break to their customers I would consider it.

like you Slacker, I am on dial-up, and unlike you I can't get a 5 mb tune to upload before it get's corrupted or breaks down before it is done uploading.. I can't wait to get satellite or wi-fi hotspot this coming year so I can show the board I am not a fake but a real musician.. I have them in the bin but can't share yet..I know you all will love them, they are tunes made from the heart and will help your health

I have all the high speed internet I can use, getting music on there is however, a struggle.
I'm fiddling around on Ohm Studio. It's pretty cool. Watch the demo on YouTube.
I just got an invite by an admin to join in on a techno song, along with two others.
I listened to the song/ watched the syne waves (whatever that crap is called).
It was tight loops. A really solid track. I just went with it. I'm still struggling to get a good guitar sound on there.
So I hooked up my Micro Korg XL to my wah pedal, tremolo pedal, reverb pedal, a little distortion, a hum eliminator (for luck). It sounded really noisy on one channel. I played along, while tweaking the rate knob on the tremolo pedal. Long story short-the guy said he could actually use it. I do want to redo it. I think I could do better.
Another new development is that my new phone can record a video and upload it to YouTube.
So I have a video of myself playing a song I wrote. It's more of a test. Testing the sound, camera angles, acoustics in the room, editing the damn video (I uploaded it edited, then f-ed up and uploaded it unedited  ). Most importantly, the sound, the microphone on the phone. Could definitely work for acoustic performance, but with 6 celestion speakers x 200W of Marshall power it = crap.
Warning! This is loud. Turn your monitors/ headphones down.
