You know the one candy that pops in your mouth while you eat them. The same thing that kid MIKEY from the LIFE cereal commercial died from eating (along with the soda).

Bad stuff going around of late. I just had a hostile relative throw out my Leslie 122 and Leslie 147 cabs.

People are crazy as hell. More "junk" got thrown away but I can't even mention it. Oh now I am ready for the 3 liter bottle of soda. (suicide by pop rocks)

POP is a dirty word where I come from.. Don't play pop unless you get paid to do it.

I've just been jamming of late. It's fing ridiculous how easy you can play with others if you can play keys (and even sound like sh*t). Good $ for often very little..try it, you might like it.

Sorry to hear about your equipment loss. Yeah, keyboard players are always in demand - if you'll play whatever the band wants. There are a few advertising in this area, but they only want to do 'their thing', of course many are still using old Hammonds - which sound great but who wants to move them around? Same thing on the big-ass Leslie cabs - who wants to move them? Yeah, the sound can't be beat, but if the band is playing loud you've got to mic them. The re a couple of rotary emulators out now that do a decent job and fit on a pedal board.
These days a keyboardist needs one good all-purpose keyboard (Nord, for example) and then a second MIDI one, along with a laptop for VSTi sounds.

I always wondered what happened to Mikey...this is a milestone.
