I understand that, Craig. I agree with it as well, however, I have never found it proper to legalize drugs, it is just a personal belief, despite all of the evidence I see supporting their legalization.

I am hoping to raise children that are good people, that follow along a straight path, I will not put them into public school unless I see a change from what it is now. Yes, they will and need to make their own mistakes to learn, but I will not subject them to something could be severely detrimental to their lives. I will protect my children with all cost.

I do not want to spark a war between anyone, we are all good friends here. Some things do make me very angry though, I do not like certain subjects. I like debating, but it is hard sometimes to bring FAQ's to the table and to fight your own side.

So you think drugs should be illegal because they are dangerous. Well lollipops are dangerous too...

A much better example is cholesterol loaded foods or things like butter. High Choleterol kills MANY more people through heart disease, heart attacks, etc... than drugs do, whether legal or illegal.

Shouldn't butter be illegal?

Outlawing the consumption of foods high in so-called "bad" cholesterol, would save infintely more lives than the criminalization of drugs ever could.


There may be 10 or 11,000 deaths in America a year, from illegal drugs.

There are HALF A MILLION deaths each year from heart disease.

Also, deaths from LEGAL drugs as opposed to illegal drugs is 100 to 1. Yes, for every death from illegal drugs, there are 100 deaths from perfectly legal drugs.

To the subject: If we the (free world) can contain the radical muslim hate long enough without unjustly causing the good people of Iran to suffer. I have every confadence they will throw off there own yolk of oppression. The Iranian people are a strong and for the most part a just people. The spark of freedom smolders there still. Craig, I just wanted people to exercise their right to vote. But I find this thread very interesting. It just shows how diverse a group of people can be that all share a common love "MUSIC".
