no help????

i'd say that schooling ANYONE on the correct spelling of "fiddler" to be VERY helpful.....let alone... hipping a fellow musician to that.

Wouldn't a "dobrologist" be someone who studies dobro, rather than plays it?

To the OP: Bryan, I see you edited your original post, but you have not updated your profile (http://www.bandmix.com/bryan571764/) which, as I indicated in my original reply, is the thing most people see when browsing Bandmix.
Good luck in your search.

before someone lying in wait to pounce upon you jumps in let me clear this up.

yes....i can see how "dobrologist" could be interpreted that way (and for the record i AM a student of all the instruments i attempt to play).... but, alas my poor typing skills failed me and "dobrologist" was a typo.

in fact, it should have read "dobrologoist" which refers to the part-time vocation that 'ive been trying to pursue w little success.....coming up w LOGOS for dobros!

You also missed, the misspelling of keyboardist. Bryan actually went back and edited. You made him feel real welcome slamming him about his spelling. He was being respectful.

This will be reported to the higher authorities.

i guess that shows that i wasn't "grading his paper", but instead trying to welcome him w some tough love humor.

scientists HAVE found that MOST people thinking w their noggins got that.

nice example of your well worn pretensions of feigning a misunderstanding of something expressed, and then twisting it to your plans of world domination...winning, and conquering.... and setting all "progressive liberals" usunder!

my bad...i keep forgetting how strongly you feel about driving folks away from this site. like, duh.

move along everybody....nothing dishonest, or hypocritical there

I'm sorry... Those were your words.

I guess everyone missed the point that you are posting non musical stuff and using all sorts of disgusting words, in an attempt to attack anyone YOU CHOOSE.

You are breaking the bandmix rules again. I don't know if they will do anything about it. If they don't... That only proves that mikeb had the individual prejudice and malice to delete posts.

Anyway this is all non musical stuff so I'll leave it on a good note.

Sha nah nah nah nah, sha nah nah nah nah, hey hey, goodbye.

ahhhh, but if only it WAS goodbye from you, glen????

do you think many would be sad?

who'd miss the angry, ugly, and ill mannered guy you've chosen to become here?

there's some that would miss what you were before this bs.

(and here's some friendly advice.....the "report it to the admins" bit wasn't all that the first time......and it h'ain't a gotten one stitch better w each tiresome time you trot it out)

what have i always told you....ya gotta have the right material...and the skills to deliver.

you should have exited stage left when you heard the first jeers and boos. that's basic sho-biz 101.

instead, you keep trying to play to a room where there ain't NOBODY digging your groove... or your complete LACK of groove..

...memo to glen: people here ARE MUSICIANS.

you're playing in the wrong key and ya AIN'T cutting the changes.

perhaps it's time to think about putting your axe up and then ya can come back another day.... when you can get in tune with the band.

and play in the right key.

or one that ain't quite as jarring.

like we're playing in C....but you hear it as G and that F# note from that key of G....well, that raised fourth or #11 sounds kinda hip and cool.

but glen, ain't no one here who can figure out what key you're playing in while we're dancing in C....what is.. ? is it... is it the key of F# you bashin' away in????? yeah, that's about what it sounds like to musicians.

one last thought. good musicians listen and they play well with others.

hey glen....try it in the key of C man. trust me...it can work.

This is just another disrespectful post. Thank you for that Mark,(PLANETGUY).
I apologize to anyone that is thinking of joining bandmix. This is not what we want. This will be reported, as all the good members do want to maintain this as a great musical site. Ask MikeB. He is our lead moderator and a great guy that will make sure that you are never censored as long as you follow the rules.G.

Well well well, MikeE did you buy bandmix? You have proven you malevolence! You met my challenge, as with the rest of the freeloaders, I guess this site has spiraled to a great mixing bowl of mediocrity ran and frequented by a bunch of liberal sheeple! Hey folks welcome to the land of the not free ran by a doctoral mass with no talent and Mike I'm talking bout you guitar wannabe!

I''m afraid that one's going right over his head, Mark!

And now he appears to be insulting the actual site owners, that's a good formula for cooperation and good spirit.

That's really sad. I see a moderator that has drifted off the help that Brian was looking for. Instead Birch all you have done is inflame the topic into another free for all insult everyone you can topic.

I don't give a darn what Jeff wrote, You are the moderator. You are supposed to MODERATE.

Brian posted a MUSICAL TOPIC. You chose to allow this to escalate into an insult contest. You should be ashamed of yourself... You should resign.
