I can't remember if I posted (then deleted) the new version of this with real drums, but the mix was f*cked up and last night finally had the chance to look/listen at it. Somehow the tom tracks all got duplicated twice on top of the guitar tracks with auto crossfades. So fixed it and now its back to 'tweaking' stage. First song on my player.

What was weird is I didn't notice the duplicated tom tracks when I first worked on the new mix, like it was a glitch when I rendered the file.

I think what I learned when inserting multiple tracks at one time - do it at the end of the tracks, not in the middle, where pre-done tracks can get written over. Luckily Reaper allows non-destructive editing - you can always "undo" changes. I also make sure I save each new session under a new name (by song name and date).
