You're glad to see someone angry? Please think about that. Anger is nobody's friend and clouds reason. Plus - Jeff doesn't like losing his temper - always regrets it.

This country is on a violent, depraved path and it's not likely to end well. Anger will not change that except for the worse. If it all falls down there will be work to do and that takes discipline.

If if comes to a shooting situation (I can think of about six possible scenarios) men your age, and mine; have the duty to keep the younger ones from giving into impulses we won't like. I've seen how they can be. They regret it later.

I just wanted to share a joke I heard on LOUIE and remembered vinny had put up that jiminy cricket pic in this thread.

seemed like this was an appropriate place as any to place a Pinnochio joke.

Let us at least have a bit of respect for the memory of poor Mr. Cricket, who was shot dead, blasted away, in a moment of steamy aggravated passion by Pinnochio's girlfriend who always keeps the Benelli Super Black Eagle, that she got for Christmas, next to the bed.

you'd think. but to me it comes down to this.....express whatever views you hold... but if you post them on a mssgboard, be a man about it and don't start flinging feces when someone expresses a different view.

and don't act so pussified that you have to put those w different views on IGNORE when they respond w a contrary view to your flying your team's flag up the flagpole again and again.

calmly discussing things w honesty, respect for a different view, and not distorting the other's words (hi glen), all helps build bridges and a sense of community.
