A while back John Wilder ran into a problem with FMSCA. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. The requirement that all states collect and maintain information on a drivers medical certification. Because some stupid Ahole on a state level lost or failed to file his info properly... John had to go through a whole bunch of craap.
So what does this have to do with CENSORSHIP?
I'll tell you...
FMSCA now requires that all medical certificates MUST be issued by a doctor sanctioned by FMSCA.
Up front this looks like nothing... NO BIG DEAL. Most of you will say "I DON'T GET IT"... But with the mark of a pen...
Our government has told our medical profession that we no longer trust all your years of schooling unless you fall under our(FMSCA) command.
DOCTORS, YOU ARE CENSORED!
Even funnier... NONE OF THE DOCTORS LISTED ACCEPTS AHCA POLICIES, IN MY AREA. (obamacare)

Dayne, what most drivers don't understand is that trucks are far more dangerous than guns. Trucks can't stop on a dime, steer on a dime, or perform half the emergency maneuvers a car can. I understand all that very well. I get annoyed when I see young TRUCK drivers thinking it is a CAR.
What I see is FMSCA trying to override and control every little aspect. It can NOT be done. It could help, but maybe a major re-education program is needed to help keep driving safe.
In 35 years of hauling every thing from underwear to fuel oil to explosives, I have never had to become so defensive in my driving... To protect the little girl texting and drifting right into my path. FMSCA can not legislate that.
All they can do is prove that they are government and they can do whatever the F they want too.
I guess we will have to see what happens to other doctors... When they are censored, or don't PLAY the game.
