Could it be that most of the long timers on this forum left do to the warnings BM gives when someone complains about something they wrote in a post?

Probably.
Or the perception of coming censorship.

Someone has complained about me and twice I have gotten the lecture from the mothership. The only person to whom I complained about was my willie. We have lost some good ones like Jimmydanger, paperdog, Slacker and a bunch more!

I've been coming and going here since 2011... I've seen regulars chayea, Black57, ETU, Scaratchy, Celtic Piping, AirViking, Klugmo, Slacker, JimmyD, Kramerguy, Fisherman Bob either quit this place or just fade off.
Why they chose to leave... you'd probably have to ask them.
Although PaperDog did give his reasons his posts are still there to read.

I think this place runs it course to some maybe gets old or stale becomes same ol same old.

This place is a nice escape for me when it's about music. Though it's not much these days but MikeB, Planet guy, Neanderpaul, Sans etc... still regularly post new music here.
Personally I've never complained about anyone here... not even wet Willey! He just gave me plenty reasons to ignore him.

We are a lot of older guys here. I'd like to see a lot of younger guys personally - so we could have mutually beneficial dialogs.

I couldn't possibly figure out why anyone would "complain" about you. Yea, you have had a few rants that were caused by more than one beer.

Actually Java, maybe this is a not a place to escape too. Funny how I am am still in contact with many more that you failed to mention. Many that you were unfortunate to meet with. This is not just about music... If you just want to talk about tempered tuning, please stick to the music page.

Meanwhile this is general chat and even the people that have exchanged harsh words with me have become friends.
