i am interested in attending or organizing a local Band Mix get together. Has anyone done this or have any insight?I am seeking to join a band or group to give glory to God part time. I work full time. I am involved in prison ministry and have a fair to good repertoir of contemporary Christian songs, Traditional Christian songs and hymns as both vocal and on flute. I can play most Trebel clef sheet music cold or with minimal practice. I am familiar with piano/keyboard, but no where near proficient. I would like to learn chords on keyboard to play with the melody. I (well inspired by God)have written a few songs for children/youth. I would like to do more in this area of my life.
