I remember reading that Michael Jordan was one of the highest scoring players in the NBA, he also missed more shots than most other players.

So when Im playing a gig, and I see a beautiful woman, I make sure she isnt with some guy, and then I hit them with all my charms, yea I strike out a lot, but I get lucky a lot too. A guy sunday asked me about it, and this really good looking gal came in, and I said watch this, now shes texted me and asking where Im gonna be next, dont know if I want to get intimate with her, but if I have a gig, all the pretty women I can bring in helps with the scenery!

Same with music, the more shots or opportunitys you take the more you will play, so as a musician you have to be able to handle a lot of rejections. But if you can do that without getting emotional or burning bridges with an attitude, you can find plenty of people to play with, just keep on trying, over and over again!
