Original band seeking bass, keys (Cumberland, Maine)

We're a newly formed band that recently recorded an album during the month of February as part of the RPM Challenge.

Now we'd like to flesh out the stronger material and build on the momentum. Style is in the rock/ jam rock/ jazz-rock styles. We have 2 guitarists and a drummer.

Looking for a bassist and keyboard player. Singing is a plus, too.

We've all got regular jobs, but want to get together on a weekly basis to play and write. Would like to play out some.

We'll be interested to hear a sample of what you do!

I'd be interested to see how that works out. I'm planning out a new original project myself and trying to figure out how to find players ballsy enough to do original but mature enough to hold a job.

Suggestion: state your end game or goals a bit more clearly - doing an album is fun but if you plan on 'building off the momentum' were does that take you?

Satisfaction? More club gigs? Tour? (that would be difficult with day jobs) That might help with getting answers from folks that have the same expectations as you all.

Good luck

I don't know how many clubs or venues there could be in Brunswick (about a half hour north of Portland), but Portland is more a 'laid back' place for music as far as I know, no rock clubs.
