I can't stand Bruce Springsteen but as much as it's been played I still like Born To Run. I never was into Guns and Roses but I did like their cover of Live And Let Die.

I don't like Kiss at all but I happened to see them in a good venue (Alex Cooley's Electric Ballroom in Atlanta) back when they first came out. They were great - they really did grind it out.

But ultimately - my cat writes better songs and doesn't wear silly makeup - at least when I'm around!

What was particularly interesting to me about that gig - Rush was also on the bill. I respect them but I've never liked them - can't take the singer's voice. But damn - they really cranked it out as well. And that guy can play bass.

Yeah, Against the WInd is pretty boring. I've played Turn the Page so many times I hate it, but added it to my songlist because people (audience) still like it and it is very easy to play/sing. Never been a big Seger fan, but probalby my two favorite old songs of his are Hollywood Nights (harder to sing) and Feel Like a Number.

i always dug the gtr tones on that tune. (actually..MOST of their tunes). Skynard is an easy and slow moving target but i gotta give it up for them....they could sure get some great gtr sounds.

You would have loved going to school with us, Mark. We used to torture this one chick by telling her to "close her legs" every time that song came on the radio. (cause that's why we thought they were eluding to..) lol
