As for CL: looking for musicians on that trap is a nightmare. The veterans that would be good are most likely already set up with another band or just don't want to do it anymore...etc.

20-somethings are typically not looking to team up with an old f*ck like me! (And vice-versa). I always get a kick out of the ads that say "I've been playing most my life and I'm 22 years old". I've got underwear older than that!

Haha! Right, or you get the posts that say they want to make a big, lucrative career out of it....and then flake for practice, never to be seen again. I would never answer any ad like that these days. These new guys tend to think they can know better, and do better even though you have experience, connections, and wisdom. Have a talk with them about opening up their toolbox and picking up some slack hurts their feelings...that, and you feel more like a dad. Ever have a couple young goobers blow up your phone talking like immature lames? I wasn't even like that when I was young. I'll take the older guys any day!

I've seen some young and energetic guys out there though. Still trying to locate the planet they're on...Haven't come across any myself.

Jamming with other experienced people lately really showed me that there's so much more to do. I do have a few people interested, but I'm taking it slow.

Just a suggestion - maybe you all should feed your bass player once in a while! 8)

Nor are they necessarily related.
