No biggie, I do that at times.

I'm so glad I have piped-in natural gas!

I replaced my furnace about 12 years ago - the fact that it lasted me 8 years was a miracle in itself: It was so old that it had once been a coal burner, coverted at some point to oil, then to gas. The asbestos jacket had been removed at some point, but when I finally dismantled it, there was asbestos inside. I got some guys to haul it away in pieces for scrap (suckers).
The new one cost me an arm and a leg and another leg because it was a cold Christmas week when the old one died.

Scott - hope your back is recovering today!

I wrote a song on Tuesday called 'Winter Sucks!'

Are you kidding? I have to go out and get another 10 gallons of diesel.

The good news is that it's warm and sunny, kinda.

I just hope everything goes off without a hitch, as I may have to do this tomorrow as well. (moan) lol

We had a power outage here in Oregon. I was initially bummed because I was getting set up to do some recording.
My mom (who lives with me) says hey, why don't you play the acoustic?
Well, my favorite acoustic is in the shop for repairs. I have a second one, but...
I also have a Pignose with fresh batteries :)

Playing Rock and Roll by candlelight is a kick-ass experience. Just as I was going to go hunting for the Zoom H2n I have stashed, the lights came back on.
It killed the mood, and I never did get a recording done...

Now I hear the weather guy warning us of possible flooding in the area, and I feel somewhat hopeful we get another power outage - via tree into line, not shmuck into power pole, of course.

Geoff

Just a tip - you don't have to wait for a power outage. There are these switches on the walls... 8)
