Heh heh...

"Die in bed?" That was poetic license. I've always wanted to die in battle up to my knees in the blood of villains. With music in my ears. I think that would call for metal!

Somehow I always thought the villains would be foreigners...silly me. Both left and right seem to think I'm a PITA. That's probably a sign that I shouldn't buy any 'lifetime' memberships!

never forget, government was created by the rich, is composed of the rich, (when's the last time you saw a poor person in office) to enact laws to protect their wealth from the common man..

Thanks Dane... That is all the more reason to throw every last greedy politician out of office. That includes the POTUS down to every self serving member of the local school board and town board.

You want to blame the wealthy. I want to blame the politicos that have created tax levels that fill their own pockets without creating any real production or value to the overall economy. You won't see it. It is all done in the name of preventing anarchy and protecting the common man.

It is supposed to be a government OF The People For the People By the People. We have moved so far away from that.

I blame the wealthy, the politicians and the wealthy politicians.

(probably all the same people) lol

I blame God, for all authority is appointed by God, so teaches the Bible. It would be hard to accept, even 10 years ago, that those who love their country and the constitution would be referred to as constitutional nut jobs, and terrorists by the very people who were appointed to protect our Constitution. However, I know the reasons that God has decided to bring America down, in that we only have ourselves to blame.

God is merely observing you.

Do what you know is right and you won't have any issues.

If he was overt in everything he did, he would have some problems straining out the "peas from the carrots".

"Gotta let the ants devour each other a little in the ant farm, lest we make them dependent on outside intervention".

I think he's the equivalent of a "life voyeur". LMAO
That and he appreciates a good game of chess.

Yes,

God is indeed observing us.

No.

Doing what we think is right is of no value as we are compared to Jesus Christ, not our own righteousness. We must rise up to that standard, but we can only do that through Christ.

Yes

God is overt in all that he does, and the examples are written scripture, we only have to look and remember that God does not change. It is written: All scripture is for reproof and correction. All scripture is written as an example for us. If anyone truly believes in the God if Israel, the author of life and faith in Jesus Christ, he already knows these things are truth. :)

You could pass for a Jehovah, but you'll have to give up dancing too. lol

You got a pulpit in the living room or what?

And I don't need a bible to know the difference between right and wrong at this late date, although I suppose some do if they can't remember the basics.

If you have ever been to church a few times, it's fairly straight forward.

Maybe you need the manual, but some of us remember the lessons because there was some pain involved and "PAIN is the greatest teacher".

That way later on when you go to do the same old crap, that memory of how bad it hurt comes back to remind you not to make the same mistake unless you have brain damage and you just can't remember, doomed to repeat all mistakes over and over again.

You going to quote some verse now? lol

it's insulting to everyone who doesn't follow "THE MANUAL" to believe that w/o it......we're hopelessly going thru life bumping into things.

that just too easily comes off as smug and superior.

No need to quote a verse. You either know God personally or you do not. If you do not, you have no understanding of the things that I write because basically I rely on scripture to understand what is going on in this world.

You can believe what you wish. I will not argue with anyone concerning scripture. I will point out scriptures concerning certain topics, but it is not for me to argue them with anyone who has a different opinion other than what is written in the Word of God. It is for God to reveal himself to others as he has to me. No one can understand the things of God outside of those who have a personal relationship with God. Who says that? God, of course, in the scriptures. :)

I have no intent to change someone else's belief as I have not been given the means to do so, that is up to God, I merely refer to scripture concerning topic matters. I once asked God to reveal himself to me as I said I if he were real I didn't want to end up on the wrong side. He graciously did and I have taken his word as the supreme law of behavior and morality ever since. I have come to know and understand how God does things through the examples of his nature given to those who believe in him in the scriptures. You perhaps get your opinions elsewhere. That is of no concern of mine and you are welcome to them. Believe as you wish. I belong to God there fore I hear what he has to say about everything under the sun.

There is a whirlwind coming for those who sit on the fence and do not have a personal relationship God or are not in good standing with God. Those have a choice. Either get off the fence and grow close to the living God or be blown off the fence by the whirlwind to the side where you would not wish to be on judgment day. My words are only for those who have the ears to hear.

A.F. All I have seen for some time now when you post is the "this person is on you banned list bla bla bla." :)

THAT'S EXACTLY MY POINT.

If you know a little about the subject in general, you get the drift.
It's only a guide and the lessons within can be learned anywhere if you look hard enough.

The bible is a testament about how to behave, but you combine that with a little common sense and you have all you need to do the job at hand.
(No one is bumping around in the night without it, although it might take a little more work to uncover what it's trying to teach.)

I learned most lessons early on in Church on Sundays and the ones I didn't get, I felt pain over and was forcefully corrected by life or other.
(The more pain you feel over it, the better you learn. imo)

But the last thing I am trying to do is teach/preach or instruct.
Let the world figure it out for themselves. They think they know, let the cards fall where they may.

If I came off as smug or superior, I apologize. I am neither. I am a sinner. I am a work in progress. I don't doubt that I will always be a work in progress, but that's me. I make no excuses, but some of this seems fairly obvious if you've been around the proverbial city block already a few times.

Anyone that quotes scripture is just looking to reinforce the idea(s) they are trying to promote. Most of us have heard them before and repetition does not breed anything but familiarity and certainly not obedience.

If you want to be a professional preacher or TV evangelist, quoting scripture is fine. But most of us are far past this point and know the difference between right and wrong without the scripture.

And some get downright upset when they hear it, thus the term "bible thumper".

You can know god well and not have to quote the bible, that's just trite and reeking of platitude(s).

Don't think you know me well enough to think I am "on the fence".
That would just devalue your evaluation processes in general.

What I think is basically irrelevant. I encourage people to "think for themselves" and ignore the rest.

and i find it totally hilarious (and a little flattering) that someone is sooooooo bothered and threatened by my views that they can't stand the idea they might actually read them!

yep, nothing says..."NO, i'm not close minded and scared when someone disagrees w me or calls me out on my poor behavior of calling names and hurling insults at anyone who disagrees w my views".... like putting another member on "ignore"!

i've never done that even w the most callous and dishonest invertibrates i've run across.... and never would.

NOBODY on a mssgbrd EVER bothers me THAT much! thank gawd.

kinda reminds me of a little kid with his hands over their ears yelping "I'M Na-OT LISTENING! I CA-AN'T HEAR YOU! HA HA ha HA HA".

that said... i will take some credit for reducing the amount of name calling that regularly spewed at anyone who disagreed w his views.

glad he took my advice to heart and toned that behavior down...right AFTER i was put on "ignore". i'm flattered he took my advice to heart.

so, thanks. and i'll take that as all the "victory" i need right there. no need for everyone to thank me....just send flowers (and money)

(bows to the crowd)

I stick all spammers on ignore as a rule.

Soon as they spam every single section of the forum, it's a MUST.

The only one that comes off smug and superior is you DUDE! You make some wide circles around me and then you can't resist coming back and starting PERSONAL ATTACKS against very reasonable people, only posting their opinions, many I would call friends.

Every one is getting to understand how you will go out of your way to TWIST and SPIN one little phrase and Highlight it to give you an opportunity to launch into one of your PERSONAL ATTACKS. You always run away from the hard question. DO you have a FUUCCKKING JOB.

Don't mess with my friends unless you want to play fair.

I'm here and I will play your games and let you make an ASSS of yourself over and over.

You really should stick to music... If you want to hang with great musicians like most of the guys up here. Your politics suck and you method of defending them are INDEFENSIBLE.

Notice I didn't have to stoop to your level of personal intimidation.

i seriously doubt anyone other than YOU feels "intimidated".

boo hoo hoo. maybe one of your "friends" can give you a hanky, a nice hug, and a shoulder to cry on.

thanks for the laughs......you might be a tiresome bore who's never told the truth about anything in your life.....but you never fail to provide a good laugh (at your expense). thanks.

one more thing....

GLENNY J wrote:

and you really should cut back on the constant sucking up, false platitudes, and childishly transparent attempts at a$$ kissing all in an effort to ingratiate yourself w your "friends".

listen, Brenda...this isn't HS and no cares who has more "friends" than one another. grow up. you're the only loser keeping score.

it's embarrassing and it fools no one. no one likes a suckass. now get that brown stuff off your nose.

what, didn't one of your "friends" loan you a hanky?????
