nice looking 'board there, jeff.

ya know, i really don't miss using pedals these days. well, truth be told...the last couple of (bass) gigs i've played w The 121's at the truckstop i've been using and really digging my SANSAMP Bass Driver after relegating it to the closet for yrs.

just think jeff, when ya get a little older and start w the jazz gigs you too can leave the pedal board home! (and get a smaller rig to haul around!) 8)

Even if playing jazz I will NEVER be without my stomp boxes LOL! I made the board. With that compressor, sonic maximizer, overdrive and distortion box, on the clean channel of my amp I get a SICK country sound! I'm talking a chicken pickers heaven! The PS5 allows me to play a melody and stick a 3rd or 5th any harmony I want above or below. It is also a whammy pedal, it gets a barely but acceptable twelve string sound. I like these multi functional pedals like that Chorus Factory, great little chorus any type you want also has a mean flanger sound like in Barracuda (Heart)!

Cool looking board. I made mine too but I didn't get that fancy. I just cut a 1x12 the length I wanted, sprayed on some black Krylon and stuck on some industrial strength Velcro. Works great, that heavy duty Velcro sticks, you can pick the whole thing up by any pedal. I only have 5 boxes, that's about all I need but would really like to add a good compressor and maybe an octaver someday. Have to make another board though...

I'm currently running (in order from input) Arion Analog Delay, Behringer tuner, Marshall Bluesbreaker Overdrive, Ibanez SD 9 distortion, Schaller volume pedal, A/B switch depending on if I need it or not. OK not counting A/b and volume pedal I guess that's 4 boxes...

Those are some good pedals Billy! I use to have an Arion delay sure wish I would have kept it. How do you like that Bluesbreaker?

Love it. Been using that thing for around 20 years, only overdrive I've ever heard I like better is the Ibanez Tube Screamer. The Arion is getting flaky, I have to spray the knobs out with contact cleaner every few months, I've been using it for probably 30 years so I guess it's time for it to start feeling old...

Mr. Haley

I looked up the PS5 which sounds pretty useful. May have to grab one.

Mike, that PS5 will get the same harmony as in the song "Can't Get Enough of Your Love" by Bad Co. It sounds like 2 lead guitars playing harmony with one another. It is not a set and forget pedal. You have to dial in the sound. I have found that leaving it in the G setting a 3rd above works for a lot of songs. It is a pricey pedal too.

Redo on my board does not justify photos.
Gone is the noisy Wah, replaced with the ACT tube preamp.
Added two Danelctro Fab ( cheap ) effects. Chorus & Delay.
They sound OK for @ minimal settings, and that is all I require.
Upgraded to 73mm nylon plectrum for the ability to play a little faster on leads as my skill improves.
Like to add a voice box to the board for fun, but alas financial difficulty besets.

Haley cool looking board. Im thinking of putting together a smaller board.

Currently, Im just using a tuner and distortion pedal, which is actually making me really work harder, just using the volume and tone controls on the guitar.

I like your new setup, that looks like it will cover all the bases to me!

Rock On Bro!
