i appreciate the level headed sentiment and call to stop bickering, but i seriously doubt "they" win if the half dozen knuckleheads on Bandmix (and i include myself) continue w our mindless in-fighting, jabs, and insults at one another.

it's my take that the folks who constantly whine about how shitty things are, and often do it in such hateful ways ....just use that as an op to purge some of their feelings of hate. they use the government or the "idiots" who don't see things as THEY do as convenient targets to strike out at.

these same folks who take the time to endlessly bitch and moan to... what....the maybe dozen or so folks that actually come here.....if these so-called "sentinels" and "watchers at the gate" were for real about their indignation, well...they sure as $hit wouldn't be wasting their time here on BM. they'd be doing something that actually accomplished something.

there's plenty wrong in government. this administration and every one that came before it....and sadly it will likely be the same for every one after it.

me, i'm just not going to waste my time bitching about it on BM because i'm too lazy to actually get my ass out in the trenches and do something about. and i AM too lazy.

and thankfully i don't need an outlet or target to spew my hate at.

Unfortunately progressives have pushed all this to the point where we are facing a scary situation. obama only has THREE MORE YEARS TO OVER THROW THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES.

Yeah if the two parties own all the horses, they really don't care who wins the race. But on a good note interest rates are going to go up and the bankers are going to make a fortune. Doesn't that make you all happy? It makes Wall Street happy.

Of course housing will have to have another crash and we're running low on gold reserves to sell, in order to keep the dollar strong. Weird, that happens no matter which party is in office. Both parties just can't give the banks, enough of our money. 18% of our GDP is based upon small business with twenty or less employees. That is all those businesses started with home equity converted into a small business loan. No equity, no businesses. So what's wrong with everyone working at McDonald's and Walmart? 80% of all new jobs created are part time. You didn't really expect then to pay benefits did you?

Ah but who am I fooling? It's all about health care, abortion, gun rights, all the smoke and mirror nonsense, that keeps both parties in power and all the citizens broke. NAFTA was an utter failure, because we never retained the intellectual rights as agreed. Who was that Reagan's smart idea? And it's not as if Obama has done anything but expanded upon G. W.'s "war against freedom" er "terrorism".

McCain is the biggest traitor going. I used to respect the guy, but between his support of the "patriot act" and the support NDAA of 2012, there's no bigger threat to American liberty walking the planet. Hey but Obama did show reluctance authorizing the military to arrest and detain indefinitely, citizens without charges, never mind a trial of their peers. What a stand up guy!

Honestly, if all of congress were burning I wouldn't piss on them to keep them alive. To say Democrat or Republican above the other side requires mighty big blinders. "Go team win! Do the thing! Score some points! YEAH! Go Team!"

I'm proud to be (put your political religion here), because given the performance of either side, I can't see where anyone has anything to brag about.

I wasn't exactly where to post this and figured this was as good a place as any.....I was at work the other day and heard something that just made me shake me head....But first a little set up to the story. 2 of my guys at work were having a discussion, one is black the other white, why does that matter you ask, Well..... The black guy is mid 30s and a "Temp." . the white guy is early 20s and has been working for me a cpl yrs.
They were discussing the state of things and the topic of government aid came up. White guy said "I don't believe in disability. If someone is capable of working I dont think they should sit on their ass at home and take money from the government". Immediately out of the black guys mouth..."You must be a Republican".
My mouth fell open and I shook my head... All I could think of, You got to be kidding me. Hollywood/Media doesnt write stuff this good.
Politics have always had "sides" and the "My party over your Party" stance regardless of the issues. But with the regime of "Obama", race is even more a factor that will heighten the tension and the un-deniable fact that NOTHING will ever get accomplished or fixed

It easily fulfills the stereotypical caricature of a republican to say "I don't believe in disability. If someone is capable of working I dont think they should sit on their ass at home and take money from the government" ... suggesting a false presumption that everyone on disability is capable of working.

Either participant in that conversation could have been any color and the first speaker would have sounded like a republican.

Of course you don't. Why don't you sit down in a quiet little corner of marks world and think about how the president you voted for has become the great racial divider.

He could have been the great uniter, but instead has chosen to follow his own agenda. Instead he has flamed the fires of racial hatred. I'm not going to show you the proof, because ZAR did in a way that is more convincing of what is happening, with his little story.

Remember one thing... Racial prejudice is one thing that I personally DEPLORE. White, green, purple, pink, black. So don't even go there.
