Got those CAD mics yesterday, they are small, have their own small mic stand holders, too. Will test them out when I get the chance.
Stopped in at Guitar Center this afternoon while my went grocery shopping at Trader Joe's next door (convenient!)
Used equipment/guitars were practically non-existent - all hidden away in back because they know people are not going to buy used for presents. Wasn't that crowded, at least compared to other stores today.
For new 'equipment' in my studio - I finished building 6 bass traps (broadband frequency absorbers). YOu can see 5 of them in the picture below, 3 along the walls behind/beside my mixing desk, and 2 mounted to the ceiling as a 'cloud'. The 6th one is against a cabinet directly to the right, out of the picture. Also made two wedge 'super traps' but need to make a frame to fit them into the ceiling/wall places I want them.
