Numeralology (don't know how u spell that), I've been hung up on numbers for awhile now, you know there is 7 music notes, 7 days in a week, 7 seals in Revelation, clearly 7 is a powerful number. I always get up at a time that adds up to 7 ie 3:04 am 3+0+4=7, I always carry 700 dollars with me, or 340 dollars, always a sum of 7. I picked this up from studying Bach several years ago, all his music he wrote for the church, but he had a strong believe in the numbers.

Anyway what I'm wondering is anybody else as excited about next year as I am? It's one of those rare years that add up to 7, ie 2014= 2+0+1+4=7, next year is the year make the most of it, I'm giving music next year, and if it's not producing the cash I feel it should, I'm going to sell out, and play down at Silver Dollar City, or one of those Branson shows.

While I'm no expert on the numbers, I do live by them, 2014 is going to be a great year, make that extra effort to succeed, and the numbers will back you.

Apparently the federal government doesn't believe in numbers, at least the kind that balance budgets.

And you know that how FBob?

If you think there is anybody in America with a little bit of money that doesn't know what they are doing, I'd say your wrong. When u get money you can hire lawyers and accountants, to make everything work for you, if you don't make money, you constantly rag about anybody that does.

FBob your a contradiction, if money's your goal, why don't you make money? If music's your goal why don't you make music? FOCUS on what you want and attain it, your thoughts are scattered. and it looks to me like you don't have the ability to reach your monetary goals or your musical goals, no focus.

I disagree Glen (tempted to put 2 n's), 7 is the luckiest number, it's not for you to pick, has it not already been picked, ie 7 days, 7 notes, etc...

all the numbers are good musically 8 is the octave, and 3 is a good number, it decides major or minor, 5 is good its the dominant, but always contains a raised leading tone as its middle member (the 3rd).

@ and 7 our leading tones, 6s are minor, and on guitar or bass ride on top of 3rds.

No consistency in your analysis Glen, are we gonna add the numbers or multiply them?

The numbers are more powerful then you might think. Why don't you explain e=mc2 to us, it's just numbers. Perhaps you should read "Our Undiscovered Universe" by Terence Witt, and really learn the numbers of Null Physics, the science of Uniform and Unconditional Reality, the numbers prove it. even if it above your head.

if I recollect, 12 notes in the chromatic scale is attributed to Pythagoras .. I have heard the Vedic civilization used music as a medicine to heal..

08 2004 by numerological consolidation would be:
0+8+2+0+0+4 = 14 = 1+4 = 5

5384 = 5+3+8+4= 20 = 2+0 = 2

Fun fact:
Take most any number .. say 375832 or 673892 or 7 or whatever, and multiply it by 9 ... the resulting sum will numerologically integrate to 9.

7x9= 63 = 6+3 = 9 etc.

Dane

Pythagorus IIRC actually worked out a system with one thousand possible sounds (frequencies?). Is A 440 part of that system space I wonder?

Somehow we worked it down to 12 and the rest is musical history - except in Japan and few other places!

At least that's the way I heard it. 8)

I don't know much about numerology but when I was younger I did a number on a few faces. That's after they started and failed doing a number on me!

Since you asked.

Not but a distraction from the One True Way.

One of many distractions that can lead to eternal separation from the Father.

Yep, I love that 9's rule. No one can ever tell me if it has a name though...

Lynard, I add up stuff all the time like that. But I usually have to add it up to 3, or 9.
2 is bad for me.

What do I think about it? I believe numbers have a certain vibration to them, yep.

Now, if 6 turned up to be 9,
I don't mind, I don't mind.

It is related to a sum check procedure known by the name "Casting out of 9's"
