I played this little show slightly more than a week ago now.

It was a decent show I guess. The point is, I met this woman there that I liked a lot. Since I am a single guy, you know how that rates on a scale of 1 to 10. It's an 11. lol

So anyway, she gave me her email address and phone number on a card at the end of the show. She asked me to either call or write her so we could go to dinner or just converse a little. I was very impressed with the way she carried herself and she seemed like she really had a lot going on in the mental department.

So anyway, I let a a few days go by and I started this dialog with her via email. She wrote me back. I won't bore you with the details, but it was good. She could even spell and punctuate. LOL No one was more surprised than myself!

So we had sent like 15 emails back and forth, right? I figured I would try to take her to dinner or for coffee this past weekend. WRONG! She ended up being completely absent for a little more than 48 hours.

So I finally get an email from her saying a little more than "I am very tired, as I just got back from my ex's place where and I quote "did him raw". LMAO

Then in the same paragraph, she says that she'd like to go to dinner with me some time this week.

(double take)

Needless to say I sent her an email that is probably sticking out of her forehead, like a dagger. I ended with one of my classic lines to "dump the garbage." I gave her the Motley Crue special, which is "don't go away mad girl, just go the f**k away."

Your turn.. Give me the dirt and we can all chuckle about it. I know I had a stiff drink after that HO TRAIN. lol

I remember back in my early days in the chatrooms, when I was like 14-16, these girls hitting on me, very very slutty girls... Lol. I was like "... Um, leave me be... Please... You are disturbing me..." Naturally for some reason a lot of the girls in the chatrooms stuck to me like glue, I guess I was a good speaker with women digitally, huh?

So yeah, I have been over a couple of those bridges... Hell, I had a psycho girl that I dated online (I never considered her a girlfriend), and of course I was younger and stupid and had nothing else better to do but find a girl online. Well anyhow, long story short, this nutcase I could not figure out whether it was her or her sister, and she would come online very rarely, and then would play games, like the time she told me she was pregnant (And you think you have met insane ones, huh?) - basically was looking for my sympathy, meanwhile I am like "Okay, so she is sleeping with some guy and dating me online...". It was just totally f*cked up. I broke up with her and started seeing my first girlfriend (Who I consider my girlfriend since I was with her for more than 3 weeks, lmao) who I broke up with a half a year ago.

Thank God almighty that I got out of the internet dating scheme, bleh, never the Hell again.

That is my story, and since I am young it ain't much of one, not enough experience, lol.

I guess what has me reacting to this is YOUR reaction...You dont strike me as the type of person that would have reacted that quickly back to her the way you did...I figured you to dig alittle deeper...Ist red flag I see is #1. You let a few days go by....I would have CALLED her the next day... (could have shown more interest)#2 E mail is too impersonal...Its too easy mis-interprete the meaning behind alot of things said and cant show emotion...I dont really start having trust in a person till Ive seen their face and hear a voice while conversating (over a period of time)..Most people I know use the EX to keep testostrone levels at an even keel till they find some else to care for so It coulda been just a physical thing...BUT, I know all your best intentions coulda still been in vain IF shes still hung up on this guy and hasnt let go...I had a similar exp.in TX in 84...I didnt see it comin...It KILLEDED ME..BUT, Im the kinda person that would react that way.... Of course , I dont know ya personally so this is just an observation....

Nah, I met her in person at the show. One thing a good looking woman hates is a guy that is right on her heels. Never be too eager.

And I have been stuck in a semi-relationship with a HO before. It's like cutting yourself slowly. You bleed, but it isn't over. Nope, just getting started. lol

So when I caught her act, I was like. Yeah, #3 and #4 engines just flamed out and we are going down. Assume crash position (head between legs and kiss your balls goodbye).

Email is good to see if they have a working brain. I detest stupid people. No room for error there. If she can't spell or punctuate, she has to go.

NEVER trust online chicks. I met this one in person and still she blew it. If they appear to be freaks, it's BEcauase they probably are. No the email was just a medium to see if this chick had a working brain. All in all, I am not sure even now. LOL

Yeah man, I think you are doing the best thing staying away from that one. I have met some freaky women online, lol. I mean am attracted to gothic women (Hence the photo of Christina Scabbia in the other thread), but I have met some women who are um, just plain out freaking nuts.

So yeah, I avoid chatrooms now. I have a bad history with those, thank God that is over with.

I will never, ever, date a woman online again. I had one who I cared about immensely, that relationship blew up, so yeah. After a couple relationships online you learn to just stay away from it.

I will take the real world. And I agree with you, man, no stupid women. I will not date a dumbell, she better have a mind. I do not care if she is interested in college, just be literate and able to write, read, talk clearly, express yourself, and understand and interpret reality (Maybe that is a bit much to ask these days, lmao).

Ok , heres one of many...This one was in in Tulia TX (just S of Amarillo)...I had met this chick ,while in a road band, who traveled alot miles to KS, NB,CO, etc to be with me each weekend...We were gonna have a 3 day break comin up so I agreed to spend it with her in Tulia...NOW , keep in mind that Tulia is in a DRY county...The bassplayer dropped me off at her house then took the band back to Amarillo...We had a great first day (SUN) ..Then she went to work MON so I was there by myself and naturally started snoopin around alittle...I was makin the bed and saw a note book between the mattress and box spring...Hmmm....lets see what shes written ...It was a letter she'd started to her EX about how she was Effin ME but it wasnt serious and was just usin me...AND was still in love with him and how she longed for them to be together.YADAYADA....OH MAN , I went ballistic...I busted a picture of us we had blown up of us in Mexico, I kinda blacked out and dont remember all that I did (wrecked , tore up etc.)...NOW , remember ,Tulia is dry so I had no beer (planned on gettin some that evening when she got home) and didnt know anyone in that town so I found a map and started walkin to the CO line...12 miles I walked to get a case...Took all day..On the way back Im thinkin, I gotta find a PH and call Kenny to drive down here and get me...Id walk 2-3 miles , drink 3-4 beers...The case was gettin lighter as I went... .Id just piss right there on the side of the road , I didnt care about anything at this point.....Finally an old farmer picked me up and took me back into Tulia to use the PH.(she had no PH)..THANK GOD , Kenny was home and came and got my ass...She called Kenny's that nite and wanted to apologize but I was WAY too upset , drunk, tired to EVEN deal with her...Couldnt wait to get back on the road where I belong...Never saw or talked to her again...

Whoo, what a f*cking story, The KIDD. That is insane, man, if I were you I would have told her off to high Heaven, lol. That would really piss me off. I look at it like this, if they do not want me, I do not want them, period. I am not playing any bloody games, I played enough games in my first relationship to last a lifetime, f*ck that sh*t. Please excuse my language people, sometimes I tend to go overboard.

using you. It's not worth getting all worked up over ANY woman. There's over 2 billion of them out there. If one screws you go find another one. You don' have to go ballistic trashing someone's house or getting drunk. They are NOT WORTH it. Just have fun with them and when it ends go on to the next one. And if you haven't got one do something you enjoy, like playing music, or fishing, or disc golf. And if you find one they can come watch you play or go fishing with you or whatever YOU want to do. Some of my former band members have had the same sort of stuff happen to them. Years ago I was madly in love with someone who basically went out with me occasionally to make a current boyfriend jealous. I learned my lesson well.
