I just took down some some old music and posted even older music. I wrote this song 40 years ago.

Funny how after all these years it has hints of who I really am. Funny that so many have come to rely on help when things get out of control. I never have. Funny that I have always held such strong personal beliefs that all I have ever needed is the love of God and family, to stay strong and be able to help others through my life's journey. Funny that I never needed a big corporation or big government to provide for me. A few of you don't have a clue about the American values I hold so strongly are being twisted and distorted, and lied about.

I recorded it on analog 16 track. I loved the sax this girl came in and played.
The drums were a bit pedantic but it was low budget and a quick, just lay down the tracks.
The vocals are way off and out of tune because the studio was having problems with gear and to just lay down a basic track I sang it using BLEED THROUGH from the control room around the corner with the door open so I could track where I was in the song.

I never did get back to finish it. Oh well.

That was 40 years ago. I still feel the same way. Don't fucckk with me... The very worst you can do is kill me. Funny...

Glen,

I liked what I heard of it but my download stopped at 2.59 megs. It still played. I t only took about 20 minutes to download it to my desktop with my lightning fast download speed. :)

I LOVE it Glenny! I had a conversation with my best friend this morning. He married my brothers ex wife. I have known this girl for 30 years. Anyway she found out about a month ago she has breast cancer. Not a drinker always took the very best care of herself anyone possibly could. My Best friend is a very successful engineer for the largest oil company in the world. This co. sends him all over the world. He was telling me about how he watches the news in other countries while there and how the American public is being systematically lied to by our government and media. He was telling me of a conversation he had with another engineer from the UK about where my sister in law would be right now in the medical system of the UK! Basically if your not on deaths doorstep you wait 6 months to a year before any treatment begins. Right now at a months time she is undergoing the 2cd round of Chemo and has a very good chance at beating this stage 2 cancer she has. If any of you have known someone that has died of cancer you know that an early diagnosis and treatment the better your odds. This same friend got on the ACA website as his son is getting too old for him to carry on his co. ins. and here is the scenario. His son makes 12K a year (musician 27 year old) the cheapest ins. thru Obama care is $245. a month with a $6000.00 deductible. My friend said in order for his son to have the same coverage he has now on dads co. ins. the monthly payment would be $600.00 a month with a $9000.00 deductible!
Oh yeah and the song is awesome Glen that is the style of music I have played with Jazzers in the past. Not many folks can say they could write perform and record something that good 40 years ago Kudos Bro!

Jeff that was a good life point and I hope it turns out well for your friend.
As for you, I have listened to many of the players progress. Some of them I don't even like, but I will still give credit.

You have actually become AWESOME. You are a very kind person on top of that.

Jeff, thanks man. Glen.

Many times I have played with a broken string on a Vibrato tailpiece.... that knocks every string out of tune so you need to hang with a few and do a lot of bends until the song is over. :)

When I worked the clubs there were about four or five on one street downtown. The bands used to make their rounds to listen to each other since we had breaks at different times for various reasons. One of our favorite pranks was to sneak up behind the lead guy (When they were on the edge of the bandstand ) grab a tuning head detune the guitar as he was taking a ride and keep on walking up to the bar.

Cool Willie. Hey this comes down to the one thing people have failed to come to understand.

If you want FREEDOM... you have to have TREMENDOUS personal responsibility. If you want FREEDOM you also have to have TREMENDOUS personal tolerance.

If you don't... You will always find someone that will go out their way to control you... That especially includes big government.

You sound like a real free spirit. Most of my bands played 50% of my tunes.

Live gigs mostly original. Times change.

Hope you keep it going.

Why has every one hijacked my thread about people that have had to protect their children from wild pigs in Georgia?

Next time I'll start a thread about how I once ate a PBJ sandwich.

Oh well it is all relative right?

What kind of jelly, Glen?

I was listening to Mark Levin a couple of minutes ago and he read a report that the FCC has a directive to go after talk radio. I guess that when you believe yourself to be deity there is nothing left to protect freedom.

I'm partial to grape jelly Slacker. I don't really indulge in it that much, but I guess that is my freedom of choice.

As far as the FCC... The first four amendments to Our Constitution of The United States of America... Were so important that many great men got together and spent Extreme amounts of time, energy and brilliant thoughts, in a discourse that was NOT TRIVIAL. It was not a five minute affair. Read the FEDERALIST PAPERS.

These were men that did not want to be punished by a self inflicted form of government. They did not want to be taken from their homes in the middle of the night and executed, because they spoke out.
They did want every American born citizen a RIGHT to defend themselves.
They did want every America the right to disallow soldiers from entering their homes.
They did want every American to be FREE from unreasonable searches.
They did want every American to be allowed to speak out, even against a government that could become ever increasingly controlling.

THESE ARE NOT PRIVILEGES! These are guaranteed constitutional rights, promised the minute you are born a U.S. citizen.

As simple as grape jelly.

Planet Jerk... Where the Hell are you...

I notice you are very good on the personal issue attacks... But when some one like me explains the basic rules of the United States of America...

You are absent from any discussion. Well little commie boy you are not the only one guilty of violating my rights... Many elected leaders don't understand them and are just as guilty as you for attempting to violate the law of my nation.

Still angry????? Good GFY.
