Here's the real kicker.

Obamacare was never in danger of being rejected. Boehner made it pretty clear that the government shutdown wasn't to end Obamacare, it was done to give the citizens the same one-year delay in implementation that big business, special interest groups, muslims, and Congress get. It's unconstitutional (if that matters to liberals) for there to be one set of laws for us, but another set for politicians and big business.

And after all the fanatical mischaracterizations and hysterical lies, a compromise was reached; but now we find out that people can't even sign for it if they want to...the thing is broken!?

So guess who's leading the charge to delay the penatly-tax for a year now? The same Democrats who refused to negotiate this very delay last month KNOW that their constituents will vote them out once they feel the pain that's coming, so they want to delay it until after the elections.

Raising the minimum wage rate will not cure the welfare issues. Part of the problem with society today is that too many people think they are deserving and want everything handed to them.
No one wants to put forth the effort to achieve, to strive to become successful. And lets not forget the career welfare recipients that would rather park their ass on the couch than have some pride and get a job. Yes,they do exist

I wish they had a minimum wage for the self-employed like me.. my guitar instruction training courses only take in $30.00 an hour.. but it's not full-time work.. I would think any kind of work is worth at least 8 to 10 an hour.. all work gives dignity to a human being..it's up to the human being to choose something that does not break their back or bores them to death.. I could not change bed sheets in a hotel long without suffering it would be too repetitious

damn. i charge $25 per hr. i know that's kinda cheap but most of my students have to drive anywhere from 30 to 90 min to my place.
