Wow George, it is a real pleasure and honor to watch you guys grow musically and spiritually! The song recording, quality, performance is great! The build is good, I especially like the increase of chorus on the vocal as the song builds! The only improvement IMO is I would really like to see the heavy distorted guitar brought up front. I am not sure if that track is recorded the best it can be. Having said that I really can't hear it. My ear hears that heavy rhythm guitar taking over with that BEAUTIFULLY recorded acoustic taking back seat only to have that whole section resolve back to that acoustic in the end! Just my opinion! You guy's are AWESOME thanks for sharing that!
P.S. you could also add an arpeggiated acoustic part in there during the heavy part, in fact you could record that track through the entire song and add to taste. FYI arpeggiated guitar means to strum the chord slowly thru the notes starting on the one.

Thanks Jeff.
I really appreciate the props and the suggestions.
I will be bringing them forward to the other members of the Band on Thursday.
Hard to to be humble with props from such accomplished musicians.
Hope only to continue to grow in the arts, and in my faith.
Thanks again.

Wow I didn't read through the post because a certain willie won't go AWAY!
Anyhow it's interesting that I hear the same thing as MikeB! Sorry Mike but I would add the same acoustic guitar sound previously recorded. If you could record that same sound on another track with just the arpeggio's, add to taste and when added pan the 2 parts to taste, JMO!
Damn that acoustic sounds good!

George, when I say brought up front only when appropriate during the build. I don't have a counter so can't say where in the song, but it should be in the section where you have it. Maybe around 2.5 minutes or so! Dang your singer sounds good!

Thanks Jeff . . .
We should be able to get a better overall sound when we actually do the pre production recording session.
Funny, I thought that my distortion part should be pulled back a little.
Most everyone else, like you, wants it more out front.
I'll let Jordan know what you had to say about the vocals . . . he'll really appreciate it.

George, I posted a song I recorded with Rare Seed called Beyond Blue on my player. You can download it but there is an example of arpeggiated acoustic guitar I am hearing. If you listen thru headphones during the intro its on the left side. It comes in on the one of the 5th measure when the drums come in.
