There's a reason Canada is considered to be North America's hit factory. And that's not even to mention the tens of thousands of independent, underground and unsigned artists in every province.
It's true that there may be more hours in a day that can be filled with live music in the states, but population is obviously a factor. While you're passively consuming we are creating and working twice as hard.
