Hey all!

Litost is now a TWO man operation and no longer only Instrumentals. I have paired up with a fantastic vocalist out here in Las Vegas and we are currently about 75% done with our first album together. I am writing and recording all the music and he is writing and recording all the vocals.

To hold people over until then, we released a single called, "Retribution" on our website.

Please give it a listen and rate the song in the comments!!!

Pretty darned good! The new singer sounds really good, and the tune is rocking. My only observations: the intro is kind of long. It might be because the main riff, while good, might not be enough to hold the listener's attention. I look forward to the finished CD. Good luck!

I appreciate it Jimmy D!
Maybe I can cut the intro down a bit... I feel like it's a good song and I don't want to lose the interest of the listener before the song even really starts.

Don't generally make comparisons to other bands but I cannot help but be put in mind of listening to Alice In Chains while working on my light and fog show.

She rocks . . . intro would be acceptable in a live setting . . . do a brief version for the CD.

Thanks a lot everyone... And no it didn't cost me a lot. My guitars and bass go right into a USB preamp right into my laptop. I don't send it out for mixing or anything.
Songs are done in house by the two of us from start to finish.

Rockin'! Bass needs to be defined a little more in the ix (some EQ), and of course you need to get a real drummer on it. Programmed drums are ok for some music, but the cymbal and snare hits on this one don't fit it - what program are you using? EZ Drummer and Superior Drummer have some pretty good metal sets available.

I know, that is definitely a tough part for us right now... I actually wasted the money on Superior Drummer only to find out it wouldn't install on my computer and now I can't return it since its software. Lets just say that wasn't a good day.
Singer and I live next door to each other in apartments, therefore I cannot play my real drums... And we are broke -- think a Las Vegas edition of Seinfeld. Everything taking place at either one of our apartments. The budget to record is pretty much zero.
