I met this woman along the way. ( as a friend )

I was talking to her a little bit over email and she seemed harmless enough. She is a little rattled and I talked to her, you know misery loves company so it was "informational". She listened to some of the music

Then she went a little over the edge.

She keeps mailing me weird things like collages, letters and little nicknacks.
(she looked my info up)
She's not even single...

She left a pizza on the front porch and that scared me a little bit.
She now says odd things like "either I meet her or she'll show up at my home" when she writes me.

I laugh a little over it but now she's getting scary and I am not impressed by her demeanor or lack thereof..

I told her that is she shows up at my home or surprises me in public, I will call the cops.

I had to even block her email address now..

Has anyone else had to deal with this yet and what did you end up doing about it? (if anything)

I am hoping she'll lose interest now and just leave me alone, but it's making me look over my shoulder and wonder if she's going to show up unannounced, full of piss and vinegar.

I'd likely send an incognito letter to her spouse.

I've done this more than once for my sisters, to get married men to leave them alone.

Pick up a few cards from Wal Mart or someplace similar.

Have some close friends write the text of the letter explaining the situation.
( in my case I wrote bogus love letters and applied lipstick and perfume )
Use a bogus or better, no return address.

And mail them from several different cities.

I completely understand.

I too am used to routine adoration from the fair sex. However, in Scott's case that sounds beyond the boundary of what is acceptable.

I wouldn't be far from a restraining order. Not that they work all that well...it does however give you a paper trail if you had to brain the chick with a baseball bat.

If it goes on, I don't usually approve of George's method but I think sometimes you just have to play dirty. The creep-o-meter is redlined on this one.

I never even MET HER.. She sent me email after hearing some of the music and I was just commiserating a little about things in life that bug me.. (there's a few things) (we were just talking over email and that's it)

The next thing I know she's getting looney on me.

I would never date her because she's basically married and besides I don't even know her.

The next thing I know, she's talking about stopping in at the house uninvited.
(I got cold shudders over that one)

And she wants to come meet me at the local dog park and states very plainly that if I am not there, she's going to the house.

I got pissed and told her that wasn't a great idea and a great way to get arrested. She didn't even flinch (well i couldn't see her) but she was unphased as far as I can tell.

Now I am worried. I don't know her husband. I don't know her kid or anything remotely about her. She lives about an hour from where I live in NJ but it's freaking me out a little.

When you live in a glass house, you don't want people throwing rocks or acting oddly and that describes me to a "t". I am always on thin ice and the last thing I need is some pushy woman trying to push her way in even after I read her the riot act.

I blocked her email address, (cause she's starting to scare me a little bit)

Why she's so out there, if she was single I might have to date her just to figure out why she's going bonkey. I never had anything like this happen before unless you count the whacko that bit me on the ear in Ocean COunty here recently.

My one buddy said I should sic her on Lester, as he may be in the mood for a date but I think he'd be pissed...either that or she'd mind control him and they'd get married. (My money is on he'd be pissed) lol

I guess I should feel lucky because she weighs less than an 18 wheeler, right? lol

Seriously, I find involving legal authorities just mucks things up and you end up with an extension of the drama and no real resolution.

This individual obviously has psychological and morality issue with "boundaries" not interested, no offense will not create the psychological negative feedback necessary to alter her deranged behaviors.

Whether it's another person's or an errant behavior of our own, we simply cannot prune weeds.

I had a bad dream last night that she drugged my beer and I ended up chained up in her basement.
She threw a bucket of water on me in the am to wake me up.
When the dream popped, I was in a pool of my own sweat.

Reminded me of "The Hills Have Eyes". LOL

PS: George, your last post scared me. lol Do I need to lock and load or what? (that's a joke) But I'd be shivering if she showed up on my front door with a knife.

She even created a bmix profile.. (gulp) I have no idea why but it's scaring me a little bit..

My nursing training and even more so experience allows me to see things from a different perspective than I used to.

And being an asshole allows for me to call em like I see em.

Yes that's what it is like being married. Woman like having power over a man. After all they are setting on 100% of the worlds supply of you know what!
