I have never in my experience met a "democratic" band worth a sh*t. They always need at least one leader, who does most of the writing and or getting the gigs. I don't like it, but that's the way it seems to work best.

WELL, THAT OPENED UP THE DISCUSSION!!!!! THAT WAS GREAT INPUT AND I SEE THAT IS SO TRUE, A TRUTH IN EVERYONES POST. I THINK THAT SOMEONE DOES HAVE TO LEAD BUT NOT BE A BOSS, BUT OUT OF RESPECT AND A GIFT OF THAT ABILITY TO DO SO, WE ALL HAVE THINGS WE ARE GIFTED TO DO AND WITH A GROUP ALL HAVE A GIFT TO CONTRIBUTE AND THE LEADER IS THE ONE WHO CAN DIRECT AND ENCOURAGE THAT GIFT IN EACH ONE AND SEE THEM ACCOMPLISH WHAT THEY ARE THERE TO DO. HOW'S THAT????????????

See, when I read caps I think someone is yelling, and it is not always the case, but they can be taken out of context.

By the way, you made some good points with the whole leading of the band thing. I do not know much about that stuff, I have never been in a band, I do not like to comment on something I have no clue about.
