Sounds like a great weekend John! Today the 3rd of Sept. is my wife and I 10 Year Anniversary! She has school tonight and tomorrow so we decided to celebrate this coming weekend! We are going to San Antonio. We will be staying at the Riverwalk Plaza Hotel. We each took vacation days Friday and Monday. This week is a 3 day week on the count of Monday being a holiday. Looking forward to spending some time walking along the Riverwalk with my beautiful wife eating some great TexMex, seeing the Alamo, and DRANKIN! Don't worry I won't be taking a wiz on the Alamo!

Man, nice place.
Damn near got into a scuff with the staff.
Seems they wanted to carry my "Go bag" for me . . .

That ain't happening.

Happy Anniversary Jeff. Next week is my wife and I's 13th anniversary (of our 'public' wedding, we did the JP thing 2 months before that so she could file for a green card).

Well tomorrow is the big day! We are headed west to San Antonio! Me and the wifey are stoked! I want to head out early. On the west side of Houston there is a graveyard where a lot of Haley's are buried. My wife has shown me her family graveyard it is now a historical landmark (registered with the state) thanks to my wife! Anyway I want to stop there for 20 minutes or so. My stepmom Consuelo is buried there. Pay some respects and then we are gonna be tourist and get some "Drankin" done!

Lol Mike, I wouldn't want to mess up the mullet! We are on the 6th floor and I don't think I would survive as the San Antonio River is only 4 to 5 feet deep through out the Riverwalk. I have forgotten how beautiful this city is, it is so well laid out and clean. Plenty of things to do lots of great food. I just thought I knew what great TexMex was!

Nice . . .
It was hot when Jeanette and I were last there.
She was on business and I hiked all over town.
Ate crab, drank cold beer, watched people ( and beautiful women )
Yeah . . .
I don't like cities. But I could go back for another visit and a beer.
